There was this lady Mukina2, the sport moderator then, there was Babyosisi, Davidylan too. Yuzedo, Billionaire etc. Nairaland was purely entertaining and educating then. That was before tribal bigots and untrained children took over.

GenZ took over nairaland and Seun couldn't upgrade with the modern day realities.if he gave stipends to members that attracted traffic with their post ,we would have gone far.

I remember Eko Ile ,the guy will tell you stories about Lagos in the 80s.
Mukina and jarus were also very active.it was purely educative and interractive discussions.no much insults.we also had creative writers in the romance section.bloggers even came to nairaland to steal write-ups of our romance writers without acknowledging the original writers.

Whenever you had a job interview ,the first thing was to rush to nairaland to know if the company is legit,if the salary was good before attending the interview.nairaland had this loving side of the Nigerian folks.

I got my first real estate deal on this platform about 10years ago

I also got my first haulage deal on this platform.infact the haulage business made me resign from media job over a decade now.

I wish Seun can create a way to bring back good old days.

Don't mind the guy..Na Ijebu man.. I joined Nairaland 2005/06 . I was very active in the job section then. In 2008/09, seun contacted me if i would love to become Job section moderator.

I asked him how much will i be paid and he said no fee attached. I declined the offer

You will be making money, me will be using my time, money and internet to work without getting paid.. No way
