How will people protesting about kidnapping and killings within their vicinity be arrested and are in jail?

Why will the NSA have Fulani Militia with guns patrolling areas.

Why will Terrorists in Keffi be released

I ask this question because you all abandoned this thread. Imagine this was in IGBO land. ZonBs will be on overdrive.

Anyway...God Bless all those doing everything possible to keep their places and regions safe from foreigners that have more say than citizens of NIGERIA.

RONU-bandits...you are next. angry

More like a crime to create conditions where shops of innocent Nigerians were looted.

Dude, we all don't like this government, but anger should not escalate to the problem that shopkeepers, who are also suffering under this same government, should suffer more because some thugs decided to go and loot for nothing.

They are alleged to have conducted a protest against the death of a kidnapped student. That protest was hijacked by unscrupulous elements which led to widespread looting of shops. Then the police went into the school hostels to pick up "suspects". Not based on evidence, imho.

But I posted this before you naw Ọgbẹni Oloruko mi?

Re: AAU Students Imprisoned After Violent Protests by Kaczynski: 1:09am On Jan 13
A predictable output from a poorly architected socio political system and a user base running on emotional heuristics instead of rational bias. The entire process reeks of a lack of foresight. Either the school administration failed to implement feedback loops or the students failed to grasp the probabilistic consequences of their actions. My bet is on both.

Re: AAU Students Imprisoned After Violent Protests by mosaicafrique: 3:08am On Jan 13
It's so shameful that at this time and era, supposed students now prefer to use chaos and protest to spoil situations instead, of Picking up the pen and paper to Petition the Governor and Commissioner of police. During our time things were fixed immediately we put up written petitions. Today, the quality of young people in school can't really compose good Grammar and write ups that are capable of drawing the attention of those in authority. Students are now embodiment of Nonentity.

Chai…. Reminds me of those years when we had a protest in Akoka, Unilag and even stormed the VC’s quarters. Las las, there was a hike in school fees and they indirectly punished everybody for the damage caused.

Moral of the story : Nor do pass yourself because na you go still suffer am

Were the unscrupulous elements really students or thugs in the area? The bandits are being pardoned and many are walking free without imprisonment. Why is this government anti-protest? We don't need a government trampling on the rights of the people, I hope Nigerians get it right in 2027, this is not democracy.

They got permission from police to protest as expected? What was the protest going to do about the kidnapping. They just use opportunity to steal people, so they gat to pay as a lesson to others and to prevent a repeat.

Those who started the protest without Police cover and permission should be ready to take responsibility for the destruction and looting that occurred.
Those innocent individuals whose shops were looted are not the kidnappers and were not responsible for the release of bandits
