Most sensible persons are very wary of treacherous persons. When peace was brokered, Fubara is believed to have agreed to a one-term deal, only for him to want to play a fast one and go to join APC, thinking he can deceive the president. He thinks he is wise.

He is welcome to join APC, but when the time for primaries reach he will be reminded of the agreement, if he pretends not to remember, he will then have to go to the primaries to test his popularity.

He must really think low of Tinubu to think that he can deceive him very easily by decamping to his party.

He is not to those who like the games of power, politics and positions. He is a useful tool, very fine tool. I had posted that they made us think Atiku was the problem but look at PDP one year after Atiku left. We know who is sponsoring him and enjoys the chaos. It's not accidental. It's well planned.

That man played the same game with AD so it's not a surprise to see it. Even PDP in Lagos could not be a good opposition because they kept using them as false flag. Look at the last guy who contested for Lagos Governor for PDP last time, he moved to APC and was not ashamed to let you know he worked as a mole. Mr Strategy has used this playbook many times and it works where there are hungry people who can sell their father's house for pittance. It's a Machiavellian type of politics that involves rub my back, I pat you and it's big money involved. Leave integrity for honest people. That one no consain dem.

You see this campaign they are running against Obi and GRV? They did it to Jimi Agbaje. In 2007, he made a good show in his first campaign with a relatively unknown party against Fashola, the next time he campaigned as a PDP man, they called him all manner of names and attached 'Ibo' to him. They already took care of PDP in 2007, they were not expecting an Agbaje to surprise them with organic votes under DPA, they took note from there and ever since then, he can't win their smear campaign. They are always using tribe to scare voters away but those who understand the game can see the fear. I wonder why people can't see this cheap pattern. APC pattern is familiar, that's why I have no pity for them when ipob or obidient give them the same medicine. They are half sides of a coin as far as I am concerned. It's giving them their own medicine. Propaganda must not be allowed to run unchallenged, if Obidients give them in the same coin, at least, it is fire for fire.

If Fubara has agreed with Wike to forgo his right to contest for a second term then he is duty bound to keep to that agreement.

The problem is that unlike the first agreement that was made public, no one has known or seen any agreement anywhere where Fubara purportedly signed away his right to contest for a second term. If you are privy to such agreement, bring it lets see.

Even Wike has not come out to show any agreement like that. All he has been vaguely shouting is agreement is agreement.

Most times, the problem in our politics is overzealous supporters who bring up fake narratives to serve a purpose that's totally alien to what their sponsors is fighting for in a bid to get a moral ground to tread upon in support of their god.

Is this the right way to run politics? This is why Trump called Nigeria a shithole. If Tinubu is as popular as he claims he should allow a free and fair playing field and test his popularity.

The gov running for a second term is his personal and inalienable right

However, you made a very bold claim that the first agreement was a public one, now I am putting you on the spot, can you show me what the agreement entails, which is not just hearsay? Since according to your claim, it is a public document?

Are you speaking as Tinubu’s representative? It is clear that key members of Tinubu’s inner circle are uncomfortable with Wike’s actions. As someone who claims to be close to him, you should be advising him privately instead of coming on air to defend excesses.

This kind of public commentary only feeds the illusion that Wike is untouchable. It is voices like yours that encourage him to believe he is above accountability. Leadership requires restraint and wisdom, not noise.
