A major religious shift is taking place in Iran. Reports suggest that more than one million Iranians have converted to Christianity over the past few decades. This has made Iran home to the fastest-growing Christian movement in the world.

Before the 1979 Islamic Revolution, only a few hundred Iranians followed Christianity. Today, that number has grown rapidly, mainly through underground churches and private gatherings.

Experts say many people are turning away from strict religious control and looking for personal freedom, spiritual peace, and new beliefs. The growing interest in Christianity is also seen as a response to social pressure and political restrictions in the country.
