Earlier today, I visited the Enugu Smart Green School, GTC Enugu Campus, where the distribution of free school uniforms was underway.

The joy and excitement in the air were palpable. You could see it on the faces of the children and their parents, a sense of relief and renewed hope.

For the pupils and many families, this is more than just a uniform; it is a powerful signal that government is present, that education is truly being prioritised, and that every Enugu child matters.

Kudos to Governor Mbah for turning policy into real, felt impact in the lives of our children.

This is how you build confidence in public education and invest in the future of the state.

I’d really like Enugu governor to continue to work tirelessly For the state and leave the other social media online performer,after 8years they will still be the one to come and declare that his 8years achievement is next to nothing.

Till the same Enugu state governor declares for president and the likes of Dapo Abiodun is on the same ballot for president, then we will know if you are serious about this your statement...

The Lagos State government has said the ratio of public to private schools at both primary and secondary school levels in the state is one to 22.

The state’s Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, gave the revelation in her remark at the 2022 edition of the Total School Support Seminar Exhibition (TOSSE) held at Oregun in Ikeja between Thursday and Friday.

The same PDP's Makinde has recruited almost 20,000 teachers in just six years, which is more than what Tinubu, Fashola, Ambode and Sanwo-Olu recruited in 27 years of 100 times increase in budget and IGR squeezed out of the masses.

This Enugu governor and Ebonyi governor are doing their best to be very honest. They are among few governor that received from Federal Account and making use of it.

don’t be an ingrate,your brothers have been enjoying the free education in Lagos since the era of tinubu’s government,I don’t argue with a dunce…believe what you believe,I don’t need you to believe that one person started free education in primary schools and the other took it up to secondary school level.makinde employed 20000 teachers,the whole of your south east states combined,how many teachers have they employed in the past 20years?
Lagos state is paying up to 65k teachers,by far highest nationwide but you want to display your half baked literacy by downplaying all commendable efforts to suit your crooked narrative…Abeg flick off

Subsidy removal is starting to yield results. Governors should please do the needful and make people happy.

it is worrisome and sickening the way some of these people who enjoy benefits of a system will still come out to brazenly downplay such gestures.see them mentioning Lagos with hate as if any state in Nigeria accommodates such amount of visitors,ask them how many people from other regions or states enjoy such as free education,access to roads and viable economy in their own state.they don’t even accommodate visitors ,in some places they even kill and devour visitors that someone will even think twice before you want to visit

When Funke Olakurin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti was murdered instead of Bola Tinubu to make sure that the perpetrators were brought to book, he ended up making fun of the death of the young lady by turning everything into tribalism by showing his hates for Igbos.

Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.


Those arrested suspects include Lawal Mazaje, 40, from Felele area of Kogi State; Adamu Adamu, 50, from Jada area of Adamawa State; Mohammed Usman, 26, from Illela area of Sokoto State and Auwal Abubakar, 25, from Shinkafi area of Zamfara State....

However, the leader of the team, identified only as Tambaya, and three others are yet to be found.

Tambaya has been declared wanted by the police and he is said to be capable of communicating in Hausa, Fulfude and Pidgin English.
