I already wrote a message asking you to refund him until I viewed the screenshot again and realized the conversation started on WhatsApp grin

Do you work with Airtel though? I am asking because I have seen you ask someone for their router number. Anyone here working with Airtel should help us fix some of these problems.

This is why when someone was asking me for WhatsApp number, I requested they quote me on a dead thread. Not that the scammers will get anything from me but I'd rather waste my precious time elsewhere. The surest way to know you're communicating with the same person is if the communication was through the person's nairaland email. My email here is not active so no communication through it. Apparently Tover had posted his number somewhere on this app.

This impersonation and thread interception thing is very common and has been going on for long sha.

I'm very confident it's not Morikee.

I don't know why Seun has refused to implement direct messaging on nairaland.

Yeah, Can't even get upto 2mbps😭. And I've tried everything from calling them to cell locking. I don't even know the issue again

Hi guys,
So 7 days after ODU installation in my house, Airtel has not been able to activate the free 1 month browsing, i have called and called bust still no show,I am frustrated right now. I have the other Smart Box 5G with sim, I am thinking of subscribing the smart box sim and put it in my ODU. My ODU is ESIM but i can switch it to External Sim. Would the subscribed smartbox sim work on my ODU?

You need to first of all confirm if the SIM registration was successful and yes it will work

That's Band 3. I think Airtel had issues with their Band 7 (both 3256 & 3400) today. Thankfully B3 was okay. This could be peculiar to my location though.

That's one of the disadvantages of Band/Cell locking.

Band 3 here is garbage. Infact all bands are just so bad only upload speeds are great.

yes I've noticed the band 3 network is very good today especially for downloading

Greetings to everyone
I was using the odu in Lagos(worked flawlessly) but moved to akure.
I get around 30-40 mbps in the morning but from 8am
It becomes unusable(not up to 1mbps) and only band 8 & 3 are available here.
It's mounted on a pole with clear sight(no obstructions)

Update on this
All I had to do was get longer ethernet cable and change the location of the odu to another side of the building now I am getting 40+ steady. Airtel try sha because na bush i dey
