Okay, I just went through a thread here on nairaland announcing the death of a popular Gospel Singer famous for her "Omije Oju" song.

So here is one of the comments I found interesting and insulting to "god" this person said there is nothing pastor can do to heal medical issues. Wait. Is that what your Bible teaches you? So hospital is now greater than the power of Jesus?

She could have been to a hospital instead of a church. There's nothing any pastor can do to heal medical issues. She, her belief, her family and team failed her. I hope more Nigerians wake up to the reality of taking their health serious by visiting and consulting the clinic and physician.

If she had survived the illness, the pastor would have come out to tell us how many demons he fought on her behalf. Now that she is dead, he will still come out to tell the congregation that her family delayed bringing her to him for healing.

Anytime a Christian dies, I have noticed that other Christians mock the dead Christian and claim they should not have been praying to god. This is very very common. So what exactly is your God useful for.

They believe in going to heaven but when one of them dies they say prayers can't stop it. Maybe what they meant is that their God wanted that person in heaven much more than they do here on earth!😟

Many people have been involved in accidents where all the commuters died, even after praying before leaving the garage.
When your time is up, no amount of prayer can stop it.

Jesus told us not to panic unnecessarily because that time people will die in mass so it could affect anyone including his disciples therefore whatever time we have is to continue preaching and teaching about God's Kingdom where all these will things of the past. Jesus assured us that we will have supporters in all the nations of the world to join us in this end time work. Matthew 24:14 compare to Act 1:8

So true Christians don't pray not to die rather we pray for the power to continue doing the Lord's work without the fear of anything not even death can stop this ongoing work now! Matthew 16:18 compare to Romans 8:35-39🙂

Atheists needs to know the difference between true Christians and Pharisees claiming Christians. If you people truly believe you are going to heaven at death then why deceitful prayers when your so called "Gospel singer" is dying?

They have been steadfast, resolute and committed.
I hold no grudge against them. They downplay commercialization of churches.
They entertain persecutions a lot, in fact more than several Christian bodies.
Seems in their church everyone is at same level irrespective of your degree, financial acquaintance and contacts.
And it seems they obey the Bible the most:
-They hardly disturb neighbors during prayers.
-They frown at intimidation and flamboyant lifestyles.
-They ensure financial gifts are covered and never displeased at whatever they recieve.
-Their members would make good politicians but they frown at politics
I respect them. I judge based on actions and not what I'm told.

I don’t know how people see death, but sincerely speaking, DEATH is a beautiful thing that the universe gave to living things just like LIFE.

The earth is a school, just like the school you know, you come to this earth to learn, while learning, life struggles and breakthroughs are lessons you’re meant to learn and fulfill the minimum requirements needed for you to transit onto the next reality once you expire from this earth, if you don’t meet the requirements, you’ll repeat the same class, meaning you’re returning back to earth to face the same challenge you failed on the last time.


So death is not necessarily the end, before you got to this level of being a human, you worked for it to be born, you were in a different state and different reality before being a human, the same way you’ll meet the requirements for the next stage or reality by working it out here on earth.

When you get to the next reality, you won’t remember your existence here on earth, that’s how it works so that you don’t have a brain surge or damage because of too many information. And so that you live in the moment.

If you’re mocking dead people, just know you’re the dumbest human being alive, weda you’re a Christian or a Muslim

When my son died, someone told me it is because I did not pray enough, that in their church, they have been told that no member that pays their tithe and prays fervently should die as a young person. I was very pissed and cut off from him. Two years later, I met one of the boys working for him, I asked him about his oga (the guy wey their church members no dey kpai), the boy told me his OGA died over a year ago. Unknown to me, even while the guy was telling me the nonsense about tithing, he had asthma, that was what killed him.

No use. The efficacy of prayer is indistinguishable from no prayer, just as the evidence for god/yhwh/allah is indistinguishable from that of a non-existent being. If that weren’t the case, believers would be able to point to one tangible, demonstrable benefit and advantage that Christians who pray, reliably have over non-Christians who don’t and that the prayerless non-christain can't have. Just one. That's the reason you won't get any meaningful response to that question. They eat, shit and die like everyone else, only diff is they got fantastical cope.
