What if you keep hearing medical term when praying about a particular illness, what does it mean and it is related to the same illness
Like l was praying and l heard go and do PCR test for a particular illness that someone close to me has and l have never heard about PCR test before in my life.
If you'll die you'll die. Forget the praying ish.

If you take Paracetamol for headache, in a few minutes the pain goes away.

But with prayers, the patient is only relying on hope and wishful thinking. It
gets worse knowing that “miracles” are neither repeatable nor guaranteed.

If prayers are as powerful as they claim, the same people who brought Christianity
will be offering easy pathway to citizenship to African pastors instead of doctors and nurses.

Go figure.

God does exist but the God that is in the religion around us is fake.

God doesn't interfere in the activities of men. Fate happens to us all. Its a universal law just as night and day are universal laws.

Men created their own gods in religion and that's a scam
I mean their God of the bible

She could have been to a hospital instead of a church. There's nothing any pastor can do to heal medical issues. She, her belief, her family and team failed her. I hope more Nigerians wake up to the reality of taking their health serious by visiting and consulting the clinic and physician.
How old are you? Before you jump into conclusion like John Benson, how did you know that she didn't try medical? Mtchewww

Waste of time.

Likely COD, accident, diabetes or complications from diabetes.

I think faith healers need to be held to the same standard medical professionals and the rest of the society are held.

Give medical advice or attempt to treat a sick person in some highly regulated societies and go in for it.

Same way, faith healers need to be held responsible and liable when they assume the responsibility of medical professionals.

You kno byou can't treat an ailment, yet for clout you tout to do so or have a god that can do so

Also, these people who go to these shams for medical miracles, are they alright?
Who told you that she didn't seek hospital help for her ailment?

All I care for is the cause of death so I will know what to avoid. She’s gone. May her errors guide the living.

Its unfortunate that Nigeria people chooses church healing over hospital treatment. The fact is that, the pastors go to hospital whenever they are sick.
May her soul rest in peace.

I wonder how people can go about living a life like you (atheist) do.
How? You only just have to open your eyes before death opens your eyes.

If religion has failed to show your God, find it through your very existence, if that is not enough, find it through science and knowledge.

Look to the seas and ocean, and see how vast and marvelous it is, that humans with it's current height in technology has not been able to explore, look to the skys, the vastness of the universe, wonder and ponder to yourself, how all these came to be, something so orderly, so deliberately designed.

Even on earth something as small as a toothpick has a maker, I bet you believe that. Then how could you not believe that your own intricately designed heart, eyes, ears etc does not have one? How can the orderly rotation of the planets and starts not have a maker?

With a soul so lost as yours, you don't need religion to find God, find Him yourself first through His creation, after then can you seek out the true religion that truly guides to Him.

Prayer can't stop someone from death. You can't add or remove from your number. When it's time you just sign out.

If she had survived the illness, the pastor would have come out to tell us how many demons he fought on her behalf. Now that she is dead, he will still come out to tell the congregation that her family delayed bringing her to him for healing.

No be everything be spiritual

May her soul rest in peace

Yar'Adua could never be saved. His condition was at the late stage. If you know nothing about health and science, zip up your big lousy mouth.

And back to the subject matter, we don't know if her condition was never something beyond what science could treat. Until her family reveal her medical history, I don't want to hear you chat sh!t.
You sound very arrogant, illogical and irrational, with a very high level of ignorancwe( I'm very sorry to say) but I"m just being sincere,

First you said Yaradua could never be saved, as in how?

These was a man who did 8 years as governor, had access to the best medical service delivery anywhere in the world, after 8 years as governor he became president and still had access to the best medical service delivery anywhere in the world, so are you saying with all the best of the health care he got throughout all that period of 10 years in office his health only deteriorated because it was late of what as you claim?

Listen to yourself now, do you sound like someone who is logical?

10 good years with the best of health care, what happened to him? Since you know exactly what happened to him that became too late?

Then secondly you are now saying that you don't know if her condition was never something beyond what science could treat. Until her family reveal her medical history...

The question is why then did you judge her if you were not sure?

Read your statement below in the screenshot, you already judged her, do you know if they had tried every medical option they know and it failed?

You already judged her and her family for failing her, the words I wrote to you in my first comment was with pure sincerity of heart, you think everyone who goes to Church for healing may have not tried every known medical option before going there?

Why didn't you wait for the family to release report before judging them?

That's why I wrote that statement there about your arrogance, illogical and irrational attitude ...

Because you want to sound intelligent and downplay spirituality you end up being illogical and irrational in thinking.

I've seen healthy people who went to the hospital for very small issue without any medical history on anything serious and they died before coming out of the hospital...

When I used the word GRACE. I know why, if you know anything about life you will how much role GRACE plays.

Just be very careful especially when you go about judging people anyhow based on their predicaments and the decisions they take trying to help themselves when you don't even know their story...

That's why in most cases when death occurs to someone, I just say may their soul rest in peace and condolences to the bereaved.

Yet look at the state of the country.

Actions work, not prayers

He exist for those who believe in Him. That's why they are called Believers.

Because you have not seen snow or something rare does not mean it doesn't exist.

I have been healed of goiter and thyroid malfunction because I believe in the efficacy and integrity of God's Word. The problem with this generation is that most of the preachers and the congregation are focused on prosperity, but forgot about the most crucial thing:

Seek FIRST God's Kingdom! Even in the Lord's prayer that Jesus taught, "Thy Kingdom..." comes before "give us this day our daily bread".

My woke generation wants an errand running God grin huh He can't be a God if you are the one calling the shots ( think deeply about that). Truth is, you can hardly get anything from God without faith and obedience to His will.

Prayer doesn't even do anything. It is the P in Psychology.
People like you are the ones that legions dwell in because there's no fire in your spirit.

If prayer is useless like you said, why do many people troop to prayer houses for solutions instead of juju houses or clubs, etc.?

It's simply because they have seen prayer worked or experienced it's work at one time or the other. Truth is, there are many factors why prayer may seem not to work for certain people.

Someone once told me: "You can't withdraw from an empty bank account", neither can you "draw water from a dry well." E get why. Some of you want nothing to do with God and His ways, but you want to benefit from His goodies. God is looking at you like huh

Hearsay. Even if she visited different clinics, were they clinics that have the facilities (doctors, health-care workers, equipments etc) that can improve or manage her health? I bet the answer is NO!

Even the supposed best clinic in Nigeria killed the son of Chimamanda Adichie. No good clinics, fake pastors, etc. I pity y'all.
Don't people die in the best clinics abroad?
