Based on those stats, Morocco deserved to go through to the final and were the better side.
Our game was really slow tonight and they didn't just allow us play our normal game.
And if we had been in the final, our best player in this game, Calvin Bassey would not have there coz his 2 yellow cards.
At least we put up a fight by taking them to penalties 😋

They didn't play pur normal game...they were being careful, more defensive than attacking.

Home advantage is a huge advantage. It is the hosting country

How many times or how long do we need to work on it? Osimhen is a good penalty taker, why is the coach preventing him from playing? Does it mean during the training sessions, the coach could not discover at least 5 good penalty takers among the boys? At any rate, the boys tried to get to this stage of the competition.
I understand the pain of making the same mistake all over again. Guess he's scared if the backlash. You know Nigerians overdo things. These the effect of fear and cyberbulling. I saw someone already raising a voice to cancel the gut that miss the penalty. Next time the guy will rum 100m if they evet call him to play penalty kick again.

You're not wrong Brother!

Even I too was wondering what trick he had up his sleeve.

A great coach delivers when the stakes are higher, Chelle has only proven that he's capable of playing small teams but will fold when he faces big teams.

Rubbish!
The moment Sunday oliseh visited him, I knew this game is gone

No more dada for national team. See as Chukwueze play that ball like "I don't care ".

You are funny though

This Super eagle squad seems the best in the recent time.
If we had won, most of the comments here people would not drop them.
Do you really think that Morocco team is bad? Nwabali saved so many...Bassey was superb...

To hold a hosting country for an extra time is not a joke, even Nigeria fan base there, their impact couldn't be seen. Everywhere is red because of home base...it is not that easy. The boys tried. Even the best of the best have lost penalties before.
The coach wasn't bad...

If e easy, all of us suppose dey play ourselves, I know it is painful but the boys tried.

Brazil lost even in world cup final to France many years ago...football isn't mathematics
Did you watch that game? From start to the end of that match, Nigeria was outclassed! Even the coach got confused. Only 1 shot on goal for 120mins is shameful. You should probably go and watch how Mali outclassed this same Moroccan team. Morocco only escaped defeat to Mali by whiskers. I expected the coach to have watched that Mali game and adopt the Mali approach. Judging from this game especially now that they faced a good opposition, I think the coach Chelle isn't up to the standard. It reminded me of the dr Congo wcq game in which we were outclassed and only tactically waited for penalties to see if we'd have luck on our side. It's the same approach he adopted in this game.

na lie. we outclassed them. but we could not score.
I suspect them bribe our players so the host country can win.

The only reasonable comment I have seen so far. The boys really tried. I believe team Nigeria will access the game properly and know where we fell short.

Apart from our coach, what the ref did is not new, it is even customary in Africa football. Imagine those late tackles ..... obviously they were preparing the players for the final

In as much as what you typed is correct don't rule out the fact that this Moroccan team is a very good side with the referee support, my only take is that Nigeria did not come to party today and it showed all through the game, our midfield is where we lost it today

Osimhen 4 take pen
.
His injury was too much to bear for him. So painful. Chukwueze na mumu. Let him not come close to the SE again. Bruno gave his PK power, he was just unlucky. That of 'Eze was a careless, passionless, powerless internal kick. That the end of his FB career. Na to just dey dribble dey lose possession him sabi. If we see you near the SE, we go arrest you. Shame on you! Go back to your loaned club and be playing your usual trash there till your boots tear finish.
