To our brave Super Eagles,

You fought with your hearts, gave your all, and showed true courage and determination on the pitch. Though it wasn't meant to be this time, you have made every Nigerian proud.

Sometimes, even our best efforts don't bring the outcome we hope for, but the spirit, passion, and unity you displayed are what truly matter. You left everything on the field, and that is worthy of celebration.

As a token of appreciation for your remarkable journey and effort, l am still going ahead to fulfill the pledge of $500,000 USD. This is in recognition of your hard work, dedication, and the joy you have brought to our nation.

Keep your heads high, Super Eagles - the experience, lessons, and spirit will fuel even greater success next time. Nigeria will always be proud of you, and we believe in your future victories!
Proudly Nigerian 🇳🇬

The Morocco team is very fast and makes accurate passes, but the Nigerian team contained them for 120 minutes. Kudos to our boys. We need good penalty shooters.”

I didn't bother watching the match. I understand Nigerian football so much that after a good play, it gets into their head and they'll lose during the next stages to the final.

What we should be asking is, were their allowances paid? because the Super Eagles I saw yesterday didn't give their best like previous matches, even the commentators said it that this is not the same Super Eagles that played before.

Hope NFF didn't shortchanged these guys that led to this performance.

Anyone can miss shootout. U remember Rashford, Saka and Sancho in that Eurogame that whose penalty kicks cost England?

Nigeria played their first tough match yesterday and they collapsed... teams like ivory Coast, Cameroon, Senegal, Mali, would have given us a real test ... Uganda, Tunisia, Tanzania, Mozambique and Algeria that have passed their hay days .... we met out match yesterday... even Cameroon played way better than Nigeria against same Morocco.... if not for bassey , we would have lost 2 or 3 nil

I blamed the coach for the loss, he is not a stranger in AFCON and he knows what it takes to defeat an African host nation like morroco but he allowed the opportunity to slide away by allowing the Moroccans to dictate the game to him... Very poor bench, fielding and not substituting below average players, poor officiating and probably a fix.

Please, blame the bench, the coach was relaxed on the sides where this is was going on without no input that will change the game. He decided to allow the game to goi that t way and I was highly disappointed that he has no plan for the PK....same way we loosed to Congo DR. Imagine a coach that can map out way of getting the ball into the opponent Box area despite playing 3 top attackers

Beating a host nation is very difficult, especially if they have very good players .. Morocco play like Europeans... even if they play that game 10 times with different coaches, Morocco will still outplay us ....
