At one point, reports claimed he won about $75k through betting. Now, we’re being told he has lost nearly half a billion naira to the same habit.

What exactly is going on with these endless stories of wins here and losses there through gambling? Has he suddenly reinvented himself as a full-time gambler?

Was there any one who thought we were actually going to beat Morocco? As soon as I heard that the referee was going to be from Ghana about an hour or so before the match, I knew it was over.

During the game, I perfectly understood why FIFA doesn't select referees from Africa for the world cup.

We wasn't going to beat Morroco...world cup semifinalists, better than us, etc.
Yes, Ghanian ref, but like I always say, ref or no ref, if a team can score legit goals ,nothing the ref can do.
At least we held them nil-nil till penalties. That's improvement. Especially since Morooco had the 12th man (their fans)

That amount won't mean much to him. But I hate betting. It's a bad way of building wealth. When celebs tow that way, it drags younger people into this unhealthy pathway.

Football bet is not by emotions or the team you want to win.

Morocco is a flexible team more than Nigeria and they are also the host team.

Currently @ North Africa, Morocco is the strongest among them.

North Africa teams plays different type of football from blacks. We play more of strength with very less flexibility.

Even Senegal will not win Morroco.

Regardless of referee lack of fairness to balance the officiating in the 90mins, Morocco outplayed the super eagles in all aspects… Morocco deserved the win, it’s just too lame to blame a player(s) for missing a penalty when Morocco had successfully killed the morale of the super eagles 🦅… football is like a war especially in that stage, luck alone doesn’t take you to the final.

This morocco team would’ve still won Nigeria in Akwa-ibom, stop looking for who missed and didn’t miss his penalty kick
