Fresh updates have emerged regarding the arrest and detention of Popular Nigerian travel content creator, Nick Francisa, in Guinea, sparking renewed concern among her supporters and the Nigerian online community.

Although her case has continued to gain traction on social media, a close friend of Francisa, identified as Felicia, has disclosed that the situation remains far from resolved. Felicia, who is currently in Liberia, shared a video about 15 hours ago revealing that Francisa is still facing serious difficulties with Guinean authorities.

According to Felicia, Francisa was held in a cell for three days before her phone was eventually returned to her. She further revealed that Guinean authorities had confronted Francisa over a video she posted documenting her journey and reportedly demanded that it be taken down.

Felicia also shared excerpts of her private conversations with Francisa, in which the detained content creator expressed deep fear and frustration. Francisa reportedly said she feels no one believes her side of the story and is worried she may be jailed for allegedly being an intruder. She maintained her innocence, stressing that she is not an informant to bandits, as alleged.

Felicia explained that what Francisa urgently needs is someone credible to stand in for her and officially confirm to the authorities that she has no links to criminal groups.

Meanwhile, popular Nollywood actor Emeka has weighed in on the matter, stating via a tweet that he has obtained the contact details of the Nigerian ambassador. He also confirmed that the Nigerian community in Guinea has been contacted to help intervene in the situation.

As of the time of this report, Nick Francisa remains unreachable, a development that has heightened fears over her safety and wellbeing. Supporters continue to call on relevant authorities and diplomatic channels to urgently look into the matter and ensure her protection.

This matter serious Nick Francisa need protection and proper legal support. Nigerians suppose raise voice, push for diplomatic intervention, and help verify her innocence. Social media awareness needs to put pressure to make authorities act fast.
