The formation a coach use barely matters,it is how they execute it. You can play a 5-4-1 formation that seems defensive on paper but your execution can be an attacking one so saying playing 3-4-3 makes him haram is not it.

With Tuchel with us,our build up was slow because of excessive passes both at the back and in the middle of the back because he was more concerned about looking for perfect ball than actually winning. The annoying thing about this passes is that they were mostly horizontal passes and backwards.

We were having less shot in general. Attack was dull. Fast transition was an abomination. Clear out was a crime. Only Thiago Silva atimes tries to play those overhead passes. Everything was reminiscent of a playing pattern that wanted to model pep with that the ideal players.

Look at Chilwell under potter haven master back passes under Tuchel.

But but but under Pochettino Chelsea were playing super fast attacking football and blowing teams away without any back passes??

Oga they played a stronger team with full strength..first time under the new manager. If this buildup will work, it will be first tested against Brentford that will definitely sit deep and wait for counter

The fans behaviour towards Chukwueze is what made those senior players chicken out. Next time Chukwueze too will chicken out. He has learnt the hard way.

Osimhen reminds me of Christensen who usually have medical emergency during tense matches. He has no confidence in himself but hides that with arrogance.

He melted under pressure from below average defenders and couldn’t even find his feet. He has passion but has a skill and confidence issue.

They are junior members of the team I am not sure Bruno or Bashiru has up to 10 NT caps. Any player who calls himself a senior player should not be avoiding awoof penalties

While I completely agree with you that we need change some of our players, the other thing we fail to notice is that Tuchel needs to alter some of his approach when his trailing behind. What is this with excessive ground short passes when you are trailing behind? This man was losing against man united with his PSG side and verratti and Thiago were busy carrassing the ball at the back. This man could sign Paul scholes who greatest strength is long passes and he will suppress them by asking them to always give the nearest man the ball. We can sign good players but if this guy doesn't change some things, we would only be good for second place finish in the league not actual winners.

I do not disagree with you but the way Naija fans tackle people who miss penalty will always discourage some people from taking them.
They might be heroes to you, but thousands of people are busy trolling their accounts and hurling insults at them right now so i am sure they are not heroes to those people. You are in the minority.

Imagine say you have a high stakes meeting with a top client in a hostile territory, make or break situation, the Senior Managers dey duck, because of the potential for embarrassment and because they will be insulted but push forward junior team members to go do the presentation.

Most football teams I watch when its PK shootout na senir men dey first jump out because its part of the responsibility of being a leader

Everything you are saying is on point but not everybody is built the same. Those leaders need to hang their heads in shame, but the Nigerian fans too need to be calming down so that their players won't be viewing penalty shootout like it is a death sentence. Nobody drags like a Nigerian and we have the population and social media presence to make life hell for any target.

Years back there was a CAF competition match involving a foreign club and a Lagos club (i think it was Julius Berger). The Lagos club won a late penalty to salvage the match, and nobody stepped up to take the penalty. The referee kept on blowing his whistle until the captain stepped up like he was going to face a firing squad and duly missed it.
