He is a young man. Most likely educated abroad and exposed. What is the point of killing his career, out of blind loyalty to his dad, joining ADC that is seen as a desperate Fulani alliance out to dishonourably oust a Southern President after four years in power?

Is it lost on him that his dad's dishonourable ambition has divided Nigeria to the extent virtually all Southern Governors have joined Tinubu to fight 'Fulani imperialism' and apparent disdain for Southerners ?

The young man is taking a stand and being his own man because some of these ambitious young guys from the North are very mindful of not allowing their desperate elders, who have had their time in lofty offices, ruin futures for them that has not even begun.

They know the consequences of the North, specifically Fulanis, being the one who abort rotation that was meant to keep the peace.

He does not wish to do 'abobaku' with his father whose 2027 attempt will surely be his last. The young man is simply being sensible, and ambitious. He is intelligently, objectively and pragmatically putting his own needs first.

This is why the north are good at playing politics. They don't put all there eggs in one basket. If Tinubu wins in 2027, it's a win for the Atikus and if Atiku wins in 2027, it's still a win for the Atikus. Same thing Hell Rufai and Son. Son in Apc, father in ADC. (Associates of defeated criminals). Our Eastern people should learn from this.
