I don't understand why a sitting minister can't face his ministry. Tinubu was out of power for 16 years. He used that period to make several people powerful. Look at how Asiwaju handles Osinbajo, Aregbe, Bode George, Jimmy Agbaje, Fayemi issue. A man whose major opponent's son endorsed for second term.

You messed up by mentioning Tinubu. Tinubu has been holding on to Lagos for over 20 years and counting. Tinubu insisted Ambode, a sitting governor will not contest for second term and he had his way. No court is stopping the impeachment process. All the court has done is to BAR the CJ from receiving the notice. In fact, the CJ can proceed on 6 months vacation.

Politics is never by sentiment, who appoint Chief Judge of River State. That was the reason Fubara changed chief judge.

Several reasons I said it is a waste of time:
1. If Rivers State folks want to be governed by a person described in the terms the Supreme Court used that is their preference and they are entitled to live by the consequences now and in the future.
2. The elections are just a few months away and the people will speak their preference as between Fubara and Wike. Interesting times are ahead.

Good evening sir. I saw your comment and I realized that you are not well informed on how the judiciary works. I am going to use simple words to break it down.

For example, If you are my landlord and I am owing you six months rent, and I got Intel that you want to bring thugs or the police to remove me from the house. Based on the above information, I then ran to court to stop you from evicting me, definitely the court will give me a temporary order based on my request, PENDING WHEN THE COURT HEARS FROM YOU...after the court has heard from both parties, the court will then give a final order whether I should be evicted or not.

So in the rivers issue, all those names listed there will be served their copies. They are expected to respond within some days.

What the governor and his deputy are doing is to buy time... because in law, when matter is before a court, parties are to maintain status quo.

That document is not the final order. SO IT IS NOT TRUE THAT COURT HAS STOPPED FUBARAS IMPEACHMENT...

Where the the process of impeachment of a Governor or Deputy Governor by the House of Assembly of a state is not in conformity with the provision section 188(1-9) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria(as amended), it shall be within the power of the court to declare such process invalid on the ground of inconsistency either to stop the process or question its validity.
