Many are called but few are chosen. Those who are chosen will be glorified. May we be counted among the chosen, for greater glory and exploits. Amen IJCMN

Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. But not all who call on Jesus Christ as Lord, Lord , shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Why? Because only bare words and passing thoughts does not really cut it. Performing a religious duty without heart, soul and spirt is vain. Speaking like an angel but living like the devil. Or having Jacob smooth tongue but Esau’s rough hands. Can one mock God. Absolutely not!

Matt 7:22a
Many will say to me on that day, ……………

Not a few but many will try to justify themselves at the presence of Jesus Christ, on the day of reckoning. But Jesus is righteous. His judgement on THAT DAY shall be just. A SHADOW of that day to come, occurred in the wilderness of Sinai. Over a million adults crossed the Red Sea into the wilderness. But only two, Joshua and Caleb entered the promised land. That is less than 1%.

Food for thought eh.

In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus Christ gives us an illustration of 2 builders, whose houses looked the same from the outside. But hidden from eye sight was their foundation. Upon what foundation did they build their house (life) upon?

Proverbs 10:25
When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation.

Nowadays, people go to church for different reasons. Looking for husband? Wife? Job? Contract? Etc? Most times they get what they want. Then, after that, what next? Take away those things they desire initially for coming to church. Will they(We) stand?

1 Corin 10:12
So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!

Better to build ones house ON the rock (Christ ) than on sinking sand (this world).

God bless.

I love the fact that I am part of the generation that was saved. I understood that there was no salvation before the death of Jesus, People were governed by law, but the death of Jesus brought about the salvation which we enjoy today. I also understood that loving the lord your God and loving your neighbor as yourself has all the Ten Commandments in it. I also understood that the Holies of holy is no longer on earth but in heaven since the curtain of the temple was rent apart. All of these events and more reminds me of how much God love us and I pray that God give us oil in our lamps and keep us burning, amen. Thank you for your write up and I pray to God to renew your strength, amen.
