Maybe one fan throughout the night is a possibility. If your fans are energy saving fans then 3 throughout the night is a possibility. |

Bros, Na your budget be the main thing. Solar does not have a limit, you have to set it because there's so much config you can have. Batteries also have varieties and cost points. Your budget will allow people let you know if you should go for a 24v or 48v system. And in that class sef the quality of products also have different price points. Greenodds: |

Unfaized:40m? Is it coaxial cable wire he will to use to do the installation? Original copper flex wire is expensive o Everything should not cost less than 80m |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Greenodds: 7:19pm On Jan 16 |
Ayomipoe:Thanks for the explanation. Since my post I have done small research. I don't think a 24v system will be able to carry a 1hp AC. A big TV and small appliances like a few white bulbs and 2 small 50W standing fans. My budget is 1M. Don't know if it'll be enough to include quality panels like jinko, and batteries like felicity etc |

Greenodds:1) 10kwh 48v battery = ₦1.4m 2) 6kva hybrid inverter ₦600k 3) 8 nos 600w Solar Panels @ ₦115k/each = ₦920k That's almost ₦3m. You'd need to up your budget. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by CuteMaro(m): 9:38pm On Jan 16 |
Greenodds:1m is not small, but it can only get you a 12v system, and you're wrong, 24v, even 12v can power your pumping machine without stress. 12v Haisic inverter---200k ish 12v Haisic 4kwh lithium battery---450k ish 2 550 watts Jinko Solar Panels---200k ish Installation + materials, depends on where you're sourcing plus installer---150k ish I won't be the one to tell you about the brand of battery you mentioned but I am not sure you really did a good enough research hehehe. |

Can i power a submersible pump of 1.5hpower with this 24v inverter and two of this 12v battery I screenshot bellow ? If yes I already have 2 400watt panel how many 400watt panel am I adding to the two I have installed before?
|
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by durodee(m): 4:04am On Jan 17 |
osayuwamwen:Simple answer Yes BUT 1) How long you want to power the pump will determine the numbers of panels to recharge the batteries 2) Is the pump the ONLY thing that will be on at that given time? 3) Are you sure the battery can be connected in series to get 24v? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 4:16am On Jan 17 |
Pump can run maximum of 3hrs I have an inverter refrigerator that I wan to keep on always but I can power off if need be I thought two 12v battery can be connected in series to gv a 24v or do you mean that not all 12v battery can be connected in series for 24v? durodee: |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by durodee(m): 4:30am On Jan 17 |
osayuwamwen:You have 2x400w panels already. If you can add at least FOUR more it will be nice. The more the merrier. This will ensure the battery is not stressed. I am assuming you are not connected to the grid. |
