Decades ago,people were complaining of over 16 hours of light given by the then national electric power authority (NEPA) as they saw the light as epileptic.
With NEPA light then, you could wait and watch a late night movie in your local station at about 10 pm till it ends at about 12 noon before going to bed as electricity will be on all through.
Those days were indeed paradise as what we now have is destruction continua in Benin electricity destruction continua,Abuja electricity destruction continua etc etc.
What they do now is bring the light at 2 am and it will last for only 10 minutes and it is gone.
The destruction continua companies now have bands,in band A and band B.
If you are in band A,the bill you will receive every month may give you a stroke if you are not careful due to its outrageousness and constant electricity is not guaranteed..

Apart from paid area for back up light, I have never experienced 7 days uninterrupted light in Nigeria before. So weird and odd

As a Band A user we bought our transformer, electric poles, cables to connect them, metres, and paid the DisCos staffs who installed these things ourselves. We still pay for the maintenance of these things ourselves. When there is an issue on our transformer, Disco still charges us for the grid to be shutdown for repairs. That means we dey pay Disco money to shutdown our lines for repairs to be made, and we still pay for these repairs.

Yet one yeye fellow will say Nigerians are not paying cost reflective tarrifs at ₦209.50 per unit. We are setting traps for some of these discos staffs, Dem go receive serious beating very soon.

Unfortunately, Adelabu who is supposed to be sacked is gunning for Oyo state governor.

I don't think this current government has done anything to improve power supply. No improvement so far, it is even getting worse. Especially in the last 6 months, many businesses are crumbling and struggling to survive due to poor electricity. Let's not deceive ourselves, as far as electricity is concerned, Tinubu is a failure.

And the Government came into the office promising if they can't fix electricity we should vote them out.

No sector in Nigeria is working abi na the one charging people over 200k for common international passport.

Nobody is saying anything because he is from a majority tribe abi ethnic group and also a major religion of another major ethnic group.
