Amorim will he ashamed of the mess he made of utd. He'd be 2goals down if he was in charge. Still holding out for a win
You mean Amorim would have also lost at home to Brighton's B-team?!!

Same lame narrative from you fans... You guys have been transferring blames from one coach to the next.

No wonder your club keeps going in circles.

Anthony Taylor is a terrible ref. Man United deserve something from this game, they've been by far the better side.

RB Leipzig and Bundesliga beg to differ...!

He is good.

Most strikers become poor when playing around selfish and uncooperative playmakers.

Osimhen would be suffering the same thing too in this squad.

Two Man Utd goals ruled out for offside as Manchester derby stays goalless at half time.

...Carrick will be fired before Valentine's day. grin

I mean... It's not like he has enough defensive options on the bench in the event one or two get suspended before the trip to Emirates.

Anthony Taylor will soon hand City the real advantage they are desperately seeking.
How can u say that for me Carrick is beta, ar u watching this game at all

I don't like the position he's playing in, I prefer when he plays from the wing position.

I Have a feeling that United will beat City. They're playing better thus far. Besides, as an Arsenal fan, I can only hope for that.

What some ppl don't understand is the fact that derby match can go either way, writing off a team based on their current form don't apply in derbies...I can see some ppl saying Man U will collect wetin no good...Its half time already, fraudiola and his boys are still looking for goal.

I'm rooting for Man U

Being a good or great coach is never enough in the EPL, especially when saddled with squads like United.

Once the results fail to show, he is getting booted prematurely, except the club is okay with replicating the fiasco of last season.

Between this game and the Arsenal game, one thing is highly certain... One of the two title contenders is dropping valuable points.
If Man City should lose or draw this match, Arsenal won't win their next match cos the point gap is wide already.

The best result city can get here is draw. You can take it to the bank.

Same way Arsenal Fans supported Chelsea when they drew against City and Chelsea fans supported City to win against Chelsea!

That Enzo goal was celebrated more by Arsenal Fans than Chelsea Fans!

I give the exact same points to Liverpool, Arsenal, Madrid, PSG, and many others.

...Or are you saying only United fans have the sole right to speak facts about the club?!! tongue

Besides, isn't this a United match thread?!

I really don't get why some of you get so testy when it comes to football banter... Does your life depend on it?!! Haba!
Re: Manchester United Vs Manchester City (2 - 0) On 17th January 2026 by Amerengues2: 2:29pm On Jan 17
It will be a shame if United does not win! Playing against a depleted CITY team with amateurs at the back and a old AKE that was about to be sent out.

If CITY, wins then its Guardiolas magic. Else, I see no reason why United shouldn't seal this game as they've been on the ascendancy with more bite.

The problem sometimes is not making it count! A city team may not need that mucb before sealing the game.

Quite a nail-biting affair laced with surprises

That's where amad is also playing, amorin made that mistakes for going for mboumo, as it stands like this is either he bench any of them or keeps playing him as a false 9 if sescko is not playing

Isn't it a shame how you people always after CITY. For a team that has dominated England emphatically and now in a rebuilding phase still chasing Arsenal- where are the likes of man u, Chelsea, Liverpool etc.

The fact that CITY has set the standard so high that you people fail to see how low-self-esteemed other clubs supporters. As a CITY fan, I know we can not compete all season and there are highs and lows.

How did he destroy what he built?! Those guys have left....he is in a rebuilding phase. Apart from Silva, Ake, Dias and Haaland....most guys need time as other teams are not here to stay.

CITY is still second despite their challenges.

What are you even talking about?!!

Someone dominated the league for so many seasons, and you call him out because the team is being rebuilt! Which kain talk be that one?!!

The last time a coach did what Pep did was Ferguson's latter reign.

No one else might come close again.

Only a fraction of City's exemplary team is left now, yet they are still gunning for the title.

Never you ever disrespect Guardiola in your life. undecided
