Me I don't understand this thing well. You mean the terrorists actually came to government house to plead for negotiations and the government did not catch and eliminate them? Abi they reached out through someone or abi online and the couldn't be tracked down and eliminated? Abeg make person clear me well oo. That's the most important thing I will always commend my former governor Udom Emmanuel for. He really understood how to deal with bandits when they started in Akwa Ibom State about 10 years ago. |

No! No!! No!!! Laying down arms doesn't preclude the consequences of breaking the law. Whether they lay down arms or not is immaterial. They have killed, they have caused havoc. The only thing they deserve is full on wiping out. They are only laying down arms now because they've not secured the heavy weaponry they need. When they do, they will unleash hell on that state. Unfortunately, Kogi state doesn't have a governor. Only a puppet. If not, a right thinking governor won't even be telling his people that their killers have promised to lay down arms. Brutal justice must be meted out. |

No peace for the wicked. If the government wasn’t collaborating with these criminals, how did they know they want a peace deal? Why didn’t they reach out before the bombardment ? Think! |
| Re: After Bombardment, Bandits Reach Out To Kogi State Govt For Peace by AMINDA: 7:28pm On Jan 17 |
Isn't that a policy of the federal government? This bandit negotiation must go round. The bandits migrated to Kogi in the first place due to state-backed negotiations in some Northern states. "Optics over results" is the motto of the APC government. |
