*CLARIFICATION ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF CHRISTMAS RICE IN AHIAZU MBAISE/EZINIHITTE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY*

The Office of Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, Member representing Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, hereby clarifies misleading accounts circulating on social media concerning the distribution of rice during the recent Christmas season, ensuring that the public is accurately informed.

For the avoidance of doubt, two full trailer loads of rice, each comprising six hundred bags, were provided, one trailer for Ahiazu Local Government Area and one for Ezinihitte Local Government Area.

The distribution was carried out in strict accordance with constituency consensus and coordinated through autonomous community structures. At Ezuruezu Mbaise, the leadership oversaw the distribution of rice to the Presidents-General of each autonomous community, ensuring fairness, transparency, and equitable allocation.

It is on record and has been formally confirmed by the leadership of Ezuruezu Mbaise that each autonomous community received nothing less than twenty bags of rice. The exercise was structured, verifiable, and executed entirely through established community institutions.

The Office is fully aware of the source of this mischief. It appears that the individual who circulated the misleading video may have intended to manipulate the situation to shortchange the community entitled to receive the rice. Such actions are deliberately misleading, factually incorrect, and entirely unacceptable.

Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu remains committed to inclusive, accountable, and orderly representation, and will continue to engage communities through recognized institutions that reflect the collective will of the people.

Members of the public are urged to verify information through credible community leadership and official channels and to disregard misinformation that serves no constructive or communal purpose.

*RT. HON. EMEKA MARTINS CHINEDU ANNOUNCES CHRISTMAS RICE DISTRIBUTION ACROSS AHIAZU MBAISE/EZINIHITTE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY*

The Member representing Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, extends warm Christmas greetings to the people of the constituency and announces the provision of two trailer loads of rice for the festive season, in furtherance of his enduring commitment to the welfare of constituents.

Each trailer contains 600 bags of rice, with one trailer allocated to Ahiazu Mbaise and the other allocated to Ezinihitte.
Rt. Hon. Chinedu emphasized that the distribution will be strictly non-partisan, affirming his resolve to promote fairness and inclusiveness across the federal constituency, irrespective of political affiliation.

The Honourable Member has decided that constituents should determine the most appropriate method for distributing the rice, so that it reaches every autonomous community in Ahiazu Mbaise and Ezinihitte. Constituents are encouraged to submit suggestions on the best framework for the exercise.

Once a particular method is adopted, the date and venue for the distribution will be formally announced.

He expressed appreciation for the patience, understanding, and unity of the people of Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, and reaffirmed his resolute commitment to people-centred representation and responsive leadership.

Show us the videos of the distribution of the said rice to the community heads and possibly the final distribution to the individuals. We understand that when the population that is receiving the rice is much, the individual portions will surely be small. And we equally know that some community heads will sell the one that belongs to their constituents. Covid19 palliatives distributions exposed many things in our government.

This is the evidence that Hon. Emeka Chinedu did not share half bag of rice to his constituents.

My attention has been drawn to the false narrative being spread by some of our constituents on the genuine effort of our honorable member of the house of Representative to alleviate the crushing effect of this economic hard time on the less privileged members of our society on this Christmas season.
Ordinarily I don't like joining issues with anyone on social media, as it has turn to a place where baseless lies and false narrative spread.

I don't believe elections are won on it. But people's reputations are being destroyed by it and I do not believe it should be so..

I don't believe in pull him down.
I believe in building genuine friendships and finding ways to be of use to our society no matter how small.
The effort of everyone of us is needed to build a society we can be proud of. The society that we will be proud to hand over to our children.

There's no way 1200 bags of rice can go round all the good people of the constituency.
But it can help some needy families amongst us. And they are the ones the rice are meant for.

It sickens and saddens me to see able bodied youths disparaging the effort of our hard working honorable member. Sincerely one of the best Representative this federal constituency has ever produced with records to prove it.
His infrastructural contributions dot every ward in the constituency. His superlative legislative contributions has been applauded by genuine observers.
Let's stop this pull him down syndrome. The rice in question has been appreciated by our people who deserve it and got it.
I will appeal to our honorable member not to be disheartened by the joke being made of his effort. This can only be the work ofpolitical jobers.
The good people of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte federal constituency loves you and appreciates all your efforts.
Remain focused on your core duties of serving humanity and mankind and God will continue to guide you and protect your family.

Wow...I didn't observe that. I believe there's a good explanation for this. I don't blame Nigerians for always being sceptical about stuffs like this though
