I find it very funny that after advising me to see beyond emotions, you went on to make a very emotional statement. The Pituffik Space Base is a US military base in Greenland. It was built to monitor Russia, if you must know. NATO, which is US' brain child which US is the chief sponsor has military bases in Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania, all of which are neighbours of Russia. So it is okay for America to have heavy military presence in Russia but Russia cannot do same to America? Yet you call me emotional? Now let me give you a shocker, Neither Russia nor China has any bases in Greenland, China wanted to build one, but the bid was blocked by Denmark. Stop being emotional and don't be deceived, America is very far from being a saint!

Europe and NAT0 are collateral damage.
He completely controls the Republican Party.
First thing Trump did on day 1 was to get the House Chairman on Foreign Intelligence, Rep Mike Turner removed. The Republican is a staunch enemy of Putin.

This isn't about woke. For a very long time since the creation of NATO they have been relying too much on us for everything especially security. They almost totally depends on the US for weapon.

During trump's first term he was even threatening to withdraw from NATO he wanted them to contribute and the war on Ukraine has finally drain their supply so he sees them as useless.

He prefer to partner with Russia to cut off ties with China to weaken China.

Greenland is not US legitimate right but helping an allied nation cement power and protect itself is not asking too much. If China or Russia takes over the place and a war breaks out, maybe the allies will be happy to send man power to their early graves.

Trump seems to be very mentally unstable and has no regard for his so called allies. One moment, he is doing well and the next moment, he is becoming a nuisance. At the end of the day, we can all see that his appetite has only grown larger after his actions in Venezuela were allowed without being challenged. He will only keep doing more. It's a thing of shame for me that I supported such a fellow during their campaign(even though my support had no electoral value). His actions so far has just been appalling.

If he had asked nicely, they would have let him have bases there. The USA was part of NATO, they could have had bases there easily, because they already have bases all over Europe and it would have benefitted everyone save Russia.

Iamzik, if China and Russia already have military bases on Greenland, there would be no war in Ukraine. They don't have anything there, it's too close for comfort to USA. Remember, there was a Cold War for decades where everyone though USSR would nuke them like USA nuked Japan. Why would they let Russia encircle them like that, with that threat?
