If that your village masquerade cause nuisance where a president convoy is passing, they will lock him up and nothing will happen, and there would be no bees in Aso Rock.

This cannot happened in our town. Any police who tries that against any masquerade may not live the next day to tell the story. You cannot unmasked any masquerade in our land and go Scott free even they say the masquerade kill some one the elders know how to sanction the masquerade.

In fact it happened in a nearby village very close to mine. It is in ugwu village, Awgbu in ORUMBA north local government area. Very close to my village , mbuluko!

awgbu town was celebrating the burial of the king that passed away and as custom demands, masquerades were all invited to come and display in respect to traditions and customs.

This masquerade was Invited too but the guy was so unruly and highly disorganised. More like a tout. He caused two okada riders to smash their head against a nearby car. I heard one survived and his still receiving treatment while the other died.

A little boy was knocked down by another okada rider was trying to flee from this masquerade and the little boy died few hours later. All these happened in Ugwu village, Awgbu

You dont know what you are talking about. The masquerade will not cause any nuisance in the first place. If there's any issues, it's the followers they will arrest, not the masquerade. It's not just one masquerade that will react if you desecrate the spirit of mmanwu masquerade. The entire body of masquerades East of the Niger and South South will come after you. I don't think that a government that wants to win elections and remain people friendly can court the ire of such group.
