₦931 BILLION SCANDAL: THIS IS NOT GOVERNANCE, THIS IS BETRAYAL The patience of the people has snapped. As families battle hunger, unemployment, and collapsing public services, outrage is exploding over an alleged ₦931 billion spent outside salaries and pensions under Governor Otti’s watch. This is not a clerical error. This is not a rounding mistake. This is a figure so massive it insults the intelligence of every struggling citizen. Markets are boiling with anger. Youth groups are mobilizing. Civil society voices are shouting what the government refuses to answer: ₦931 billion did not vanish into thin air. Someone approved it. Someone spent it. Someone must explain it. Hospitals remain ill-equipped. Roads crumble like neglected relics. Schools beg for funding. Yet the people are told to clap for “reforms” while transparency is treated as a favor instead of a duty. Critics describe this as governance by arrogance and silence by design. This is not about politics. This is about trust, and that trust is bleeding out in public view. Leadership that cannot account for public funds has no moral authority to demand loyalty from the people. The message from the streets is no longer polite, and it is no longer patient: open the books, name the projects, show the evidence, or face the judgment of history. No amount of spin can bury ₦931 billion. No press release can erase public anger. And no leader is bigger than the people they swore to serve.

I found this story laughable. It's not about love or hatred but logical questions need to be asked, if that amount leave abia state coffers that is if what they have there is up to that in the first place, don't you think there would have been serious crisis in the state? If that amount suddenly disappear in Lagos or Rivers states coffers, it will bleed let alone any state? Please give a better explanation for us to understand. By the way I found it laughable saying one governor is the best in Nigeria! Please on what metrics is that based relative to other 35 governors? IMHO, no governance in Nigeria deserve applause until there's transparency, accountability, meritocracy is practiced. So, from president to state governors to local chairmen and their legislators are there for themselves. We are only comparing who is a better thief. |

You mean abia got 931billion which translates to 30 billion every month. Op should tell us how much delta, rivers and bagels got if ordinary abia can collect 30 billi9n |

saintmm:When you see people attacking a man like this without logic and evidence, doesn't it tell you something? People don't throw stones at the worst fruits, they throw stones at the best fruits, in a battle the enemies look for the best fighters of their opponent to take out first... So logically speaking Gov Otti is the best governor in Nigeria today, though I'm not calling him a saint either, but logically speaking... |
