Does that kai kai man look like someone any serious political party wil align with? Let him fight Tinubu and see if anybody will align with him
Is there a serious political party in Nigeria? I don't want to type much, but you clearly lack the requisite knowledge to engage me in this topic. You are groping in the dark. When you understand politics, you won't be making this surface arguments. Alliances will be made to achieve the desired result. It is not about your feelings.

you will soon know how wise Tinubu is.
Wike was too powerful in his base, Tinubu had to wait for fubara to join APC and wike to lose PDP membership.
So wike would soon be stranded.
Everybody knows there's time for everything
What of when woke joins apc?

I understand but Wike is already boxing him to a corner. He's done worse things that could have made fubara to be tough on him but he's been quiet. The question we should be asking ourselves is, can wike as governor take all these excesses if fubara were in his shoes?

The time to act is now, as the chief executive of rivers. It's getting out of hand. He needs not keep quiet anymore else, he'd be rubbished.

This guy too the talk, seem patience is not his virtue.
He's holding on because Tinubu is holding Wike on a tight leash. He ran to France as soon as things started going South. He has gotten some reprieve now, it's not up to a week, and he has started throwing shades again.

Well na their business
And the only reason Wike still remain relevant is Tinubu. Remove Tinubu Wike ll go on exile or maybe extinct politcally. So believe Wike is so strong.

We have been told time and again that the inordinate desire to impeach the governor, who is an Ijaw man, and his deputy, who is an Orashi daughter, has nothing to do with ethnicity.

Assuming, but not conceding, that the governor had committed an impeachable offense, what did the deputy governor do to warrant impeachment as well, if not to pave the way for an Ikwerre man from Obio/Akpor, the same LGA as Wike, to be acting Governor, and three months later, allegedly pave the way for another Ikwerre man from the same Obio/Akpor to be substantive Governor, so their leader's son will succeed him in the House of Representatives?

It is a pity that while three Ijaw Rivers State House of Assembly sons are being kept away from the sittings of the house, the 13 other Ijaw and Orashi sons and daughters in the house are working hand in glove to sack their son and daughter from their offices as governor and deputy governor.

At present, the Ikwerre-speaking people in that house are six, including the speaker, while the Ijaw/Orashi people there are 13, which would have been 16 if the other three members were not kept away unjustly to have a smooth proceeding to want to impeach the governor. Since the 13 sitting with them cannot push out the Speaker and install an Ijaw or Orashi person as Speaker to thwart the plan of another Ikwerre governor, they would know that not having the other three members in their sittings, especially during their impeachment proceedings, to have their say, was their greatest undoing, now that the case has moved to the judiciary.

That's it and that's all.

No saccharine, no sugar, no spice.

Not only Abuja big boys. Heavyweights indeed. Some of you are funny. In which state are they heavyweights? When did Ribadu start playing politics? How did his gamble in Kano emirate saga go? Hope Uzodinma, the Supreme Court governor as he was foundly called is a heavyweight? Umahi too? What a joke.

Wait , wait first ‼️🤦🏿‍♂️

All this talk of " Remove PBAT" and Wike can't do anything and Fubara would've dealt with him. Is it PBAT that gave Wike the political structure of 27RHA members, all the LGA chairmen, 2/3 senators and 4/6 Federal Reps, not to talk of countless loyal, ride or die grassroot supporters, that are doing all his bidding ⁉️

So if PBAT wasn't behind him, Fubara would've run him out of town, with who and who ⁉️🤦🏿‍♂️

Even Fubara's kinsmen are Wike loyalists so how would he have defeated Wike ⁉️

Please enlightened me

why he won't seek second term because of wike is he the owner of rivers?,
If Fubara doesn't do a 2nd term, how does that affect your life? If Wike didn't bring him, what would you have done? Mtcheww. Busybody.

tonykel1:

This argument is trite and unfounded. If Wike wanted an Ikwerre governor, he wouldn't have chosen Fubara and none of you would have stopped him. Stop making noise here with your raging emotions. This has nothing to do with tribe. Any reasonable person devoid of sentiments would know that there is a presumption that whatever Fubara was doing, his deputy was in support. Did you hear her say otherwise? Anyway, the grounds for her impeachment are clearly stated by the assembly members and not open to conjecture. Oko Jumbo and co are no longer lawmakers. Go and read the constitution. They can continue following Fubara around.

Eriokanmi:
The question we should be asking ourselves is, can wike as governor take all these excesses if fubara were in his shoes?
I can never ask myself such a stupid question. People are different. Circumstance, knowledge and experience shape people. Did the ingrate called Fubara fight for power? What is the source of his unfounded arrogance? Cluelessness for sure. I don't know what some of you are doing in the politics section. Fubara is a clueless neophyte that was handpicked from oblivion and thrown into office by a veteran in politics. He was a civil servant. Fubara can never be Wike. Stop comparing a dog to a lion. You guys cannot make Fubara what he is not. You will only push him to his doom.

Keyin:
Those members of the House of Assembly are acting like political jokers. What makes their plan both strange and laughable is the so-called double-barrel impeachment they have long pursued. Attempting to impeach both the Governor and his Deputy simultaneously clearly suggests that the Speaker stands to benefit personally from the process, which completely undermines any moral justification—especially given that the move is politically motivated against both officeholders. I foresee these actors fading into political oblivion within a matter of days. Fubara and Wike will retain their positions, while the National Assembly is likely to step in and assume legislative responsibilities in Rivers State.
If the governor and his deputy have committed gross misconduct, why should they not be impeached? It doesn't matter what you think their motives are, the lawmakers are performing their constitutional duties. What moral justification are you yapping about? We are talking about law (constitution). Did they not list the grounds for the impeachment? So what is your problem? All these emotional lot. Smh.
