Our family don't do that tribal marks on our faces, but check some upper parts of our arm you will see.

You shouldn’t have followed them to do that incision on your upper part of your arm. What if I say I detest yours, how will you feel? Don’t crucify what you don’t understand or know the deeper meaning of. I’m a Yoruba man. I understand that this is our heritage, our identity, and we must be proud of whom we are. It’s westernization that is causing all these issues making us hating on ours heritage, traditions and culture.

thanks bro. I was too addicted to Pepsi for the past year bro, that I can take 2 to 4 bottle daily if am even chance, I just make up my mind to stop taking it or any sugary drinks make I no kpia myself with health issue. I make a little amount of zobo with cloves, ginger and garlic at home which I do take, those have more health benefits then all those sugary drinks.

oga no one kpia am Na drug. Someone at 20 that already have wife and child what do you expect.. I have a Cousin whom I was so close to her late mum, after his mum death he started smoking and doing all sort of drug, anytime he come to stay at my place he will look weak and shaky, I stop him from coming my place or giving him money because I notice any money I give to him he end up using it to take those drug.. This boy youmger brother get someone pregnant at age 17, the girl give birth after 4days the baby dies and the girl left to continue her education. He get another lady pregnant after that, well he has a child now and they are staying together. Am in my late 30s, no wife no kids, but imagine my cousin of 18 doing all sort of things.

Una go dey shout hospital, hospital, somebody died because CT Scan was not functioning at FMc Abk and few other places that has it. Without CTScan, doctors won't do much for head injury issue unless there is a scan report. That is if you are even lucky to get a bed.

I tell you o, my brother; we're weaning off white bread too. Noodles has been banned for decades sef.
Even this past festive period, it was zobo and kunu all through.
You just have to take that decision, esp with kids. They get used to healthy feeding when you train them as such.

I don't know why nairaland members don't understand somebody comments sometimes before judging.

I'm not crucifying this man or condemning him cos of tribal marks, i am only talking about based on his entitlement field being a musician of Nigeria gem or Nigeria secular music member. The mark sometimes doesn't sail you out internationaly, it sometimes make you look local even when you have tremendous amount of talents built in you.

The facial tribal mark doesn't sell you out like that, especially when you intend breaking into the European or American market.

As a Yoruba man i be, i value and respect our deep Yoruba culture and traditions.
