See Bruno shooting right into the keeper's hands even after leaving the goal wide open for him to score

sad

That Bruno penalty was worse than Chukwueze’s penalty.
Ivan Toney would’ve strolled the ball into the right side of the keeper.
I think Bruno had already chosen power and the direction.

Oga no need for long grammer or getting too emotional. Just go online, preferably on FB and watch the clip of how Hakimi walked to the back of Mendy's goalpost, Just few seconds before the penalty, grabbed his white towel and threw it into the stands, thinking that the white towel was a form of voodoo (juju) to save the penalty, and how a Senegalese player rushed right back into the stands, grabbed the towel and returned it to it's former position. Then, tell me if all these desperate actions from the Moroccans prove to you that they deliberately planned to miss that penalty!!! Oga, see eh, the problem with you is that you don't understand what football means to those North Africans. They don't see football as a game. They see it as a war!!! Nothing concern them with fair play or what people will say later, they play dirty to win at all cost!!! Talk more of an Afcon final on Home soil!!! After all the billions and emotions the whole country has invested in the tournament!!! Haba na!!! Oga, they will do everything to win that final!!!
It’s embarrassing reading certain opinions here. How can a grown man believe that Diaz or Chukwueze deliberately missed the penalty??

I don explain tire. But many of them still believe the Moroccan lost the penalty on purpose. So he likes Senegalese players more than himself to put his reputation on the line like that.

Ogbeni, you sure say you get job so? How old are you sef? You don pass WAEC? Guy, this na Monday morning o. Your mates are out hustling for their daily bread and you dey here since last night insisting on your conspiracy theory say Diaz was told to miss the penalty.

Did you see the Morrocan coach and other team officials and players yelling at him after he tried that nonsense penalty? If they told him to miss, why were they shouting at him? Why was Diaz mentally finished after missing it sotey them remove am? Why was he crying all through on the bench? If he wanted to miss intentionally, why didn’t he play the ball wide as that’s the easiest way to miss the penalty?

Who tell you say the Senegalese no celebrate? Go rewatch the match? The celebrated but low key cos the match was not over. You expect them to dey jump for joy when there was still 30 minutes to go?

Guy, you don’t sound like someone that has ever been involved in any professional work to say that Diaz missed that goal intentionally.
Ok sir, you're correct. You can now go to any bank to cash out for being the most hardworking and analytic man

Give an example since the history of football when a player SAID he was told to miss a penalty kick.
Morrocco will be screaming at top of their voice right now if anyone even TRIED to tell them to do ANYTHING!
Diaz that has been dropped from their Olympic team and may retire from football!
That's an example

That means they knew that ball wasn't penalty if not they wouldn't have made it fair play
Well I change my stance, there's no way he would deliberately lose that ball when his country hasn't won the Cup for 50 years.

Even if Senegal decide not to play again, they'll automatically win the Cup.

Either way it's a win win for them.

The yellow cards stopped you from passing well, it also stopped you from out scoring them cheesy
You are yet to tell me how the yellow cards stopped your players from converting their spot kicks.

Your players were simply no match for them, simple.
Look how Senegal matched them edge to edge.
Yes Na, if the referee gave the Moroccans enough Yellow card , Nigeria would have won the matchgrin cheesy grin cheesy cool

I've only seen Mendy catch two penalties and both are penaka. The first penalty was played by Aguero against Chelsea and Mendy caught the penaka. So, it's safe to say Mendy only catch penaka

That means he is a specialist in paneka catching.

This is a player NOT the team AND no secrecy involved. The goalie was not told to "stay in the middle". What happened was obvious to everyone. Not when Diaz was wailing and hollering like a mad person to be awarded penalty (which was actually the RIGHT call). You conspiracy nuts are not human!

Not at all. The player didn't have to SAY anything, neither was there any conspiracy involved. Everybody saw what happened. He wasn't screaming and hollering for a penalty then looked like he was about to commit suicide after he missed it!

You must feel embarrassed posting this. I know you read the circled part below and hoping against hope we won't see it. grin
Fowler actually begged the referee not to award the penalty. Compare to screaming Diaz!
Once again, you conspiracy loonies are not human.

Both examples you gave actually worked against you!

Admit indeed, you were expecting him to admit he did it on purpose.
Yes Diaz was screaming, not doubt about that he wanted that penalty. And had it been the Senegalese didn't complain and just go with the flow of the game accepting the decision, Diaz would have scored. But that protest and walking out, took the sting out of that appeal and the dimension of the game.
.
Now I want you to read this for the last time. I'm not forcing you to agree with my opinion, and I definitely respect you think Diaz lost the penalty naturally. I stand on what I think happened even though I maybe wrong.

Diaz was weeping as he was escorted off the pitch, and looked like he was about to commit suicide. He has since been dropped from Morroco Olympic team, and may quit football or even.lose hos life over this. What's wrong with u conspiracy kikus??!

That's the thing, if we'd been brave enough to go after them, we could have beaten them.

I still think Senegal would have beaten us but who knows?

OF COURSE!!! He'd make it absolutely clear he deliberately missed it. A PLAYER WILL ALWAYS MAKE IT CLEAR HE DID IT DELIBERATELY!!! (Unless he was paid by the Mafia or such to miss it)

He didn't deliberately miss it, it was a Panenka gone (very) wrong.

You can't play the ball towards goal and deliberately be said to miss it, but it away from goal for a throw in.

Why do we have so many conspiracy theorists on here?

Until you are the one involved, you wouldn't know the pain.
If it is flipped around, Morocco would do worse. Their nationals would invade that pitch.
It is clear that refs were sort of careful to discipline moroccan players.
Senegal had been vindicated. Now they should beat them thoroughly.
Exactly. Before pointing out the speck in your neighbor’s eye, we should look at the plank in our own. If roles were reversed, emotions would be just as high.
