FFK has dropped a sweat, and right on cue, I expect the ever-dutiful handle mops to rush in like starving interns at a free buffet.

Everything about Nigeria often seems steeped in insult, aggression, and a deep sense of bitterness. Public discourse is dominated by shouting matches, personal attacks, and an obsession with proving superiority rather than solving problems.

The way we blow big grammar, you would expect Nigeria to be the most developed Black nation on earth.
Yet the reality is the exact opposite.

Our institutions are among the weakest—poorly structured, poorly trusted, and routinely undermined by those meant to protect them.

Governance is fragile, accountability is rare, and competence is often sacrificed on the altar of ethnicity, patronage, and blind loyalty.

Instead of channelling our intelligence, creativity, and energy into building systems that work, we expend it on insults, empty bravado, and endless online wars.

Until we learn to replace bitterness with responsibility and rhetoric with results, all the grammar in the world will remain nothing more than noise masking systemic failure.
