agabusta:I don’t come online to say things I don’t understand. Before I post, I research thoroughly to make sure I’m sharing accurate information. I speak with confidence because I rely on facts and often reference official government sources. Yes, courts still exist.... no one disputes that. But that does not change the core issue. Bill C-12 limits who even gets access to an IRB judge in the first place. But the person has to file it in the first year of being in candana except that case is automatically ineligible If a claim is ruled ineligible ( which 5% of cases in 2022 are but now its closer to 30% or more ) https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/transparency/committees/cimm-nov-29-2022/overview-asylum-system.html it never reaches the IRB and is instead pushed to PRRA, under rules set by government. Judicial review is not a refugee hearing. Courts do not hear evidence, assess credibility, or re-decide asylum claims. They only check for legal or procedural errors, and most reviews do not stop removal. So saying “you can go to court” does not cancel the impact of Bill C-12. Access to IRB hearings is being narrowed, delays are being cut, and the risk is much higher for late or “enter-first-claim-later” cases. That is the point ..and it is correct. A PRRA decision does not give someone a “day in court” in the sense of a full refugee hearing before a judge. Bill C-12 is designed to: (1) Reduce late asylum claims (2) Limit access to IRB hearings ( which is seeing an immigration judge) (3) Shift more cases to PRRA ( Close long-standing delay and appeal loopholes which will increase deportation )

Adebayo82:Hello. I believe you referring to me. I’m a lady and I have never entered your dm to request for money. I dissociate myself from your claim. I believe someone must have cloned me or used my name for such dubious act. Please be careful of scammers. |

Hi Kennie 1997 See the Whatsapp of the person, I don't know whether is he or she. +234 903 339 9151. I Pay attention to his message, he took a screenshot of the message I posted on Nairaland in less than a minute. We started chatting, and I pretended that I was going to send the money. He then requested my email and application number. I became suspicious and refused. He later called me, but I hung up the call. Kennie1997: |

How many times have you even come across my messages on this platform? Sometimes I ask questions not just for myself, but for my siblings, relatives, and friends. I am also trying to convince people that, with the right information on Nairaland, one can prepare and package a visa application independently without paying hard earned money to fake travel agents. Think deeply before you comment, never use the word of too desperate for a visa to me. uchennay: |

Good evening house, Please assist. Help! I'm unable to save or proceed past the 'Activities' section of my visa application. It keeps saying the questionnaire isn't answered even though it's 100% complete. I've tried different PCs already. Has anyone found a fix for this? |

Hello Everyone, I would really appreciate a second opinion on this "issue" do one to need to submit a LOE in their visit application that they gave birth in USA few years ago. One can't say they visited USA for 3 months for vacation as the only reason while filling the form. |

My people, I finally got the Canadian Visa approved after 4 refusals so don't give up !! What documents left to submit was my future myself and family Death Certificate.. My advice will be go all out to establish solid home ties ! I mean very solid home ties, put at much documents as possible otherwise you just wasting your time. They want to be sure you'll return.. The level of refusal is crazy now. For me who has all my kids and family in Canada yet they stripped me naked.. Good Luck everyone ! keep pushing |

fastcars0000:How can one have his immidiate family in Canada and yet be refused visa to go see them ? How did you prove home ties? Is part of home ties not that family that is already living in Canada? |

tpain121:Because many of our people have abused the visitor visa system through massive asylum claim, even parents visiting children in college or siblings visiting family and then claiming asylum it is sad, but authorities no longer truly trust us, and this now affects even genuine travellers |

Hello guys please i have a question to ask and i need your help,i have applied for Canadian visa since April 2024 and yet to receive any message from them, hope i am not the only one whose application is taken longer to be approved ? Is there still hope that they will still attend to my application ? |

GbengaBigBoy:😨 2024 ? Going to 2 years. |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by uchennay: 5:50pm On Jan 19 |
GbengaBigBoy:Please go back to your quack visa agent or reapply. This is not normal. If you applied in 2024 and have had no update, there is likely a serious issue with your file. It may have been refused or resulted in a ban due to fake documents! |

Canada is different , having your family in Canada is a high risk to them. I don’t know why. I had to prove home tie using my Company and transactions . Also I showed them I have over 15 Family members I send support money to each month. They need proof so I attached bank deposit copies My financial document I sent was over 50 documents Again when you’re attaching Bank statement have your Bank write a letter to support it. I pray I don’t ever come across such again. tpain121: |

Congratulations on your approval. Yours is an exemption. It is very difficult for a spouse to get a visiting visa when your spouse is already a permanent resident. They see you as a potential immigrant. They would rather have you going through spousal sponsorship application than coming as a visitor. fastcars0000: |
