bro, sincerely i do not know where to begin to answer from... I was away for long too until recently. From my observation, ordinary parcels i.e small items are sent through speedaf, you really will have issues with items delivered through speedaf....once the price of your item crosses a certain threshold it is assigned to nipost and this is where the problem lies. Basically it just delays, but from the testimonials of users in the thread it is mostly always delivered just before buyer protection period expires.
For instance i bought a tablet and it's accessories during the 11:11 sales 2025, I've received the accessories to the tablet, they were sent via speedaf, but the tab was sent via Malaysia Post which is usually fulfilled by nipost, the last update is from December 9th when it arrived destination country airport. Since then no update on the tracking till now.

Wow, nothing has improved much; there are still delays and uncertainty.

Things rarely improve without much ado here. I will always compare prices and the urgency of need for an item I want before making a purchase. I was looking for a solar panel voltmeter wattmeter power analyzer (for a DIY setup), found one on Jumia for about 22k plus, the same item on AliExpress with favourable shipping fees was less than 10k. That's when I asked myself why not start getting things here as I used to before.

Thanks for the heads up, though. I will keep an eye on this thread to get insight into situations before making a purchase.

These are tracking numbers issued before consolidation.
When the items "depart from warehouse", all tracking numbers change to NG1387*****R

One of the items from this order. Replacement charging board for a phone. The seller sent a board that doesn't work.
I raised a dispute with video evidence. I got a response that the evidence wasn't enough. I did two videos again showing the board sent was defective but my request was closed and denied.
I also applead this and was denied still.

I ordered a $200 tablet on Sunday, I’ve made the order before coming here to read things AliExpress does and now I’m kinda feeling I just might be in for a long patience and waiting ride. I’ve made previous purchases from AliExpress, all handled by SpeedAf and had no issues at all with them, and that was what made me feel the ordering a tablet from there will be a smooth ride too.

I paid $22 or so for shipping, I don’t know if that will make dem choose a better logistics partner or route for my order cos all my previous orders are choice items and were all free shipping.

There's no point reaching out to the seller as I'm almost certain the shipping option available to you was AliExpress standard shipping which the seller has no control over. AliExpress is solely responsible for shipping said item and there's no way seller can recall or influence the process.

It's also important to note that the issues experienced by most persons isn't because of the logistics company that couriered items I to Nigeria, but by NIPOST and the local couriers responsible for delivery. Also, avoid DHL and FedEx as much as possible, cause they'll almost always charge you exorbitant duty fees.

Just be hopeful your experience will be a little different from others.

The thing is: not all stores selling on Aliexpress are located in China. There are quite a number of sellers from another country there.

Yeah. Also. Some are drop shippers - ships the one they have from their store/China while send order details to 3rd party/their office in another country/state for shipping if they don't have the advertised items.

That’s what the seller said too, said it’s already at departing airport and it’s awaiting transit - all I can do now is to hope it isn’t handed over to logistics that’ll delay its delivery.

Speedaf customer service has become so terrible in recent times. Unlike before, they no longer respond to email. Besides, putting calls to them is a waste of time. You won't get a response.

You can retrieve the phone number of the delivery agent from the parcel tracking information. If that doesn't work, try and visit their office to pick your item, although I expect them to re-schedule the delivery.

I want to open a dispute on AliExpress but I can’t find my way around the app anymore.

I received a phone I ordered, and after just 3 days of use the screen started having serious issues. The order has already been marked as completed, but I did NOT click the “Order Received” button when I collected the package.

The reason is because I wanted the buyer protection to continue while I properly tested the phone for any faults.

It’s been a long time since I last ordered from AliExpress, so I’m a bit lost now and I can’t find the dispute button.

Please, if anyone knows how to open a dispute in this situation, I’ll really appreciate your help

This should be inside the order page, unless buyer protection period is over which is usually 15 days after order is marked as delivered
