In the near future, the minimum amount of investment might hike up; 5-10k might not be accepted again.
Exactly, that's the implication for the average low earner investor.

Can you share a screenshot so I can know what the problem is exactly?

Have you funded your account?

If you have received the cscs num and chn you should be logged in automatically on the stocks module

Thanks a lot. Will try it out

The security trading was my confusion. The number us different from my cscs and chn
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 3:54pm On Jan 19
CSCS is different from CHN. CHN is the clearinghouse number. The minimum top-up is 50k.

I understand the difference in the numbers, but any idea about the security trading number?
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 6:28pm On Jan 19
That's your personal trading number with CardinalStone.

May the equity fund gain momentum; the market appears to be slowing, but I'm confident it will resume its bullish trend in due course. Fixed income funds are performing well. FIF(+) Equity(-)

This equity, do u invest daily & withdraw your capital & profit after each day? Something like day trading?
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 7:00pm On Jan 19
Go to your stock trading platform on the app; you will see the number starting with "00." That is your trading number. You don't really need it, as CSCS and CHN are the vital numbers.

You can't withdraw daily, as it is a long-term investment. I can invest daily, but withdrawal is not anytime soon.

The fixed income funds beat MMF any day, anytime. The daily rate is mouthwatering.

What's the annual interest on the fixed income ...and does your profit drop weekly or monthly?
Re: Equity Investment. by Emmanuel72(m): 12:05am On Jan 20
On the long term....which is more profitable between selecting and investing on individual stocks and investing directly on aggressive equity mutual funds?
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 12:34am On Jan 20
Profit drops daily. I'm not sure about the annual profit, as I just started it. Bond rate varies, and you can't specifically point out the daily or annual rate; however, it has a lot of benefits, such as coupons, dividends, and peak seasons.

Do both together. @Beeron can provide a detailed insight into your question.

The honest truth is, picking the right individual stocks can make you MORE money than equity mutual funds, but equity mutual funds are SAFER for beginners.

Best stock pickers beat Equity Mutual fund but most beginner stock pickers don't beat Equity Mutual funds that's why Equity mutual fund is still the best for someone who doesn't want to bother themselves with doing technical or fundamentals analysis everyday.

Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 6:50am On Jan 20
I ran a check on my investment portfolio using my office AI, and I was disappointed, as I have been investing wrongly. The AI told me to start investing more in the fixed income fund, as the daily earnings can match the equity earnings if the market isn't bullish enough. Furthermore, it accelerates faster compounding that leads to steady growth than equity funds. Basically, equity needs to be locked up to do the dirty job while the fixed income fund delivers steady income and delivers more steady income during the 4 seasons peak period. Following this advice, I will go more into the fixed income for a while and top up equity gradually, especially if the market is down. It even told me if the equity market is down, it brings more money, as it can skyrocket easily.
