GOV. SIM FUBARA EXPANDS HIS APC FOOTPRINT

His Excellency, the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, on Monday joined other top leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the inaugural meeting of the party’s Committee on Strategy, Conflict Resolution and Mobilisation, convened to address internal disputes and emerging threats within the party.

The committee is chaired by Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON and includes Governors AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), Bassey Otu (Cross River), Abiodun Oyebanji (Ekiti) and Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta).

Other members are Senator Adamu Aliero; the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola; Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle; former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello; Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Masari, with Muiz Banire (SAN) serving as Secretary.

At the committee’s inauguration last December, Governor Buni said it would adopt strategic engagements and wide consultations to deliver inclusive and lasting solutions that give both old and new members, especially aggrieved ones a renewed sense of belonging.

He added that the committee would also take proactive measures to address potential threats to party unity and urged members not to allow personal interests or sentiments to override the collective good.

Worst case, emergency will be declared again. Martin Amaewhule can never become governor by impeachment. If Amaewhule wants to become governor, let him go for an election

Martin Amaewhule has no ambition right now to be the governor. He has the right in the future to contest, if he so wishes. Being an acting governor after the impeachment of the governor and his deputy is simply the law and temporary. You guys are just myopic and concerned with the wrong things. You are not bothered that the governor is ruling the state as a despot. What a shame.

Sure because both him and Woke are presenting the same interest to APC and the President and he being Governor of Rivers has given him more hands and more trust with APC....
