No need for all these demarketing. You're not talking to a half-wit.

Information abounds on the internet and word of mouth, puts Victron as one of the best inverters, far better than the Chinese brand Deye sef.

Haven't heard about the Cerbo GX and MK3 USB you spoke about sha, but would research it.

And Victron 8kva isn't 4m by the way, even the 10kva is circa 4.5m on Konga (more expensive expectedly).

Spit facts man.
If you haven't heard of Cerbo GX and MK3 USB, then you should have gone for further studies before accusing him of "demarketing" Victron. Victron's equipment integrate very well, but they will dime and nickel you to death with cables and accessories. And foolishly, they have many different interfaces on their equipment. Some support CAN, some VE direct and some the notorious MK3 USB.

Look well before you jump and if you eventually take the plunge, don't come and whine here.

No 1hp or even 1.5hp inverter AC is drawing 1200w, be serious.

Yes, if it's a regular AC then you'd be right.
My inverter AC draws over 1kw on startup when the room is hot. So, it's absolutely possible.

Omo who have recommendations for a low wattage microwave wave Biko. Imagine my microwave stated for 700w pulling over 1kw.

Why is it locked to just one voltage though...hmmm. I like the high PV input.
The thing is the price will almost buy a 5kva hybrid inverter

That's pretty much what all microwaves I've tested pull. 1.1-1.4kw.

Yes to both questions..

Go for 16mm and above.. Depending on what your load is sah.

SolomonGrundy:
Good morning house

I have a setup comprising of 24v 3kva hybrid inverter, 2.5kwh LiPo4 battery, 555w panel x2. I noticed that my battery doesn't get fully charged unlike before when I newly installed the system. For context, the system was installed in March last year. So, I went on a fact finding mission, disconnected all the load and allowed the battery to charge only, I noticed that at peak sunshine, the total amps supplied to the battery is just 20A.

My question now is:

1. Is it a case of my panels being dirty and needs to be washed or cleaned
2. Should I also change the cable connecting the battery to the inverter, because I noticed it looks thin sort of

PS; attached is a picture of the cable connecting the battery to the inverter

Haisic 4.2kva/24v

You saby pass people way make the AC come give power rating? Some inverter rating is as high up to 1200 and as low as 300watts. Na manufacturer talk am so who are we to be arguing

Solar yield during this period is poor.
Dust done saturate the atmosphere. This is why I prefer rainy season than "dust" season because the atmosphere is always free of dust. Just a tiny amount of sunlight after rain will produce good amount of yield. Climate change is also here.
Actually, while I was still a Tenant, living on the ground floor of a 2 storey building, I installed a water hose in a way all I need do is turn on the tap and it would wash the surfqace of my solar panels. I need not wait till rainy season OR start renting ladder to climb that high WHILE owners of the hose are looking.

Some times, we think having the most expensive shiny item is the best

Abeg who knows where I can get a soft-starter for a submersible pump. The initial power draws for pumps is almost 3X the power rating. Please, I'm not looking foe the expensive Schneider et al. soft starters with all the machinery. Just anything that will dampen that initial power draw.

1. What's the hp?
2. What is your Inverter size and make?
You have no business with sumo higher than 0.5hp if your borehole depth is around 70 to 90ft.

Some installers install the panels ffacing or pointing away from the sun. Imagine that. In poor sunshine and poor whether, panels still give reasonable output.

Good evening,
Has anyone experienced or experiencing situations when energy saving led bulb will be partially lit when switch is off?
This happens when my load is connect d to inverter output, but doesn't when connected directly to grid....

Note that, connection was properly done L - L, N -N

I had issues like that until I ported to original bulb like AKT or what’s it called. But I’m not sure if that’s the same issue you are facing.
