What I don't understand is why Israel and Gaza are being invoked in so many of the comments and dragged into this show of shame. It is so childish and irrelevant.

This is not about Israel and Palestine. This is about citizens of a so called African country using racist language towards black people during a competition that is supposed to promote African unity through football.

If they can do this in full view of the watching world, one can only imagine what happens to ordinary blacks living amongst them who are not celebrities.

As long as blacks keep reacting and giving these racists attention, then racism will never end...

Completely ignore such racists and give them zero attention and watch how racism due to skin colour will gradual fade away.

The video in your post was actually Algerian fans wearing Morrocans shirt mocking Morrocans for losing the AFCON finals to Senegal.

I am not saying those morrocans are not racists but that video is not them but Algerians mocking Morroco for failing to win.

Alot of blacks have faced racism in the world irrespective of status. How else is someone supposed to earn respect?

Moroccans (who are largely Berbers) are NOT ashamed to display racist tendencies towards folks of African descent from the South of the Sahara.


Coincidentally, I posted this video on Moroccan racism right BELOW just yesterday. It's NOT only Morocco that engages in this highly IRRESPONSIBLE Berber/Arab racism where folks of African descent are derogatorily refered to as "abe*d" BUT the ENTIRE North Africa right into Mauritania and Northern Sudan and then into the Arabian Peninsula including the highly IRRESPONSIBLE folks in Arab countries such as Oman in the Gulf region. Some Nigerian women who went to work as domestic staff in Oman and even the UAE have been sexually assaulted and a few even got pregnant in the process.
