Lol. Predictable. We know the APC will try to keep remnants of the PDP alive to prevent them from joining the ADC but they overplayed their hands and that ship has sailed. They never foresaw opposition figures coalescing under one party. That was never the intention of Tinubu and Wike. A two-horse race election will be detrimental to Tinubu's chances. |

If you love democracy, you will support PDP to survive. You think one party state is fun, wait till someone like Abacha takes over the party, na that time the difference go clear |

This is another blow to the camp that wanted to keep the party in a stalemate. With Anyanwu out of the way and the court dismissing this, maybe the party can finally breathe. But knowing PDP, another court injunction is probably loading in a different state. |

Wickedtruths:Don’t let those parties deceive you, they have no depth, even the grandma in the village knows PDP as a party. Depth takes time. |

tnerro1:It's only Tinubu supporters that want a one party system in Nigeria but what baffles me is the fact that they think the APC leadership Will favor them forever. They forget the fact that they'll always arise a leader that won't care about their feelings and emotions and when that time comes regret will be too late |

"When the matter came up on Tuesday Anyanwu, through his lawyer, K. C. Njemanze (SAN), informed the court that he intends to withdraw the suit having been overtaken by events. He explained that as at today when the matter came up, Anyanwu is no longer the National Secretary as his tenure expired in November, last year." This is the backbone of this development...before someone go dey dance azonto and begin to legitimise the Christmas party some PDP members had at Ibadan. |

SyrusdeHansome:.... but nothing lasts forever! If you cultivate the Wind, you'll reap the Whirlwind. The old man they're joining to destroy Democratic Institutions will go, but these young ones will live to witness the proceeds of their rascality. Unfortunately, they do not have minds of their own, due to Poverty, Low Self Esteem and inherited Sense of Servitude.

aluko1980:And this one too AMINDA:You guys should try read and understand before rushing to comment ignorantly. The headline is pure propaganda fabricated by another poorly educated guy. Check the actual headline from the source, it is entirely different. For proper context, Anyanwu remains the national secretary of PDP. He never said he’s no longer the National Secretary as fraudulently claimed by the OP. His counsel simply withdrew the case because it has been overtaking by event. What is the event? Anyawun has already been recognized as the National Secretary so he doesn’t need the court to give that order again. The inability of folks like you to read and understand is why is why we have to write IELTS before traveling to an English speaking country. |

seunmsg:Lol. Mr English. The below quote was in reference to submissions from Anyanwu's lawyer. Maybe you're more informed on the matter than him. My theory is that Wike has already began to work on a plan B in preparation for his impending betrayal by Tinubu. How can you claim Anyanwu is still the National Secretary when his lawyer is publicly stating otherwise. "When the matter came up on Tuesday Anyanwu, through his lawyer, K. C. Njemanze (SAN), informed the court that he intends to withdraw the suit having been overtaken by events. He explained that as at today when the matter came up, Anyanwu is no longer the National Secretary as his tenure expired in November, last year. While blaming the situation on the judicial process in the country, he urged the court to strike out the suit in order not to waste the precious time of the court." |
