I think the boy is just outta of form. His confidence was dealt a blow by being out of the team for so long, dropping down to no 3, and then being dropped from the English team too. I think it made him doubt his ability a little. He will come good again, it is just a matter of time.

I think Arteta should be apportion a little part of the blame as well. Arteta keeps showing he can't manage a large squad and keep the players happy, playing and performing. His inability affected the slight dip in form for MLS, eze, nwaneri and some other fringe players. Arteta need to learn how to man manage large squad from coaches like ancelloti and zidane.

Well, obviously, he is learning. Just like most Arsenal fans, the bottling of the last couple of seasons keep playing on his mind. Hence, he's scared of the repercussion of over the top tweaking of the team. Plus he rewards and punishes players according to their performance in the last game out.
