All the directors Manning that office should be queried or transfered to less busy offices. They're bunch of lazy folks.

We will be blaming Tinubu and politicians up and down, but in our small corners: in our homes, offices, churches, clubs, schools, etc, we work with zero professionalism, diligence and compassion.

Little wonder a wise man once said that a people deserve the leader they have.

Nigeria has very weak institutions filled with unqualified "quota system recruited fellows" who don't know Jack about service and professionalism.

I won't blame them entirely, give them the Minister's salary and bonuses, and watch them become more zealous than Minnesota's ICE officers.

You can't be paying me N250,000 in these perilous times, and expect me to work like a machine.

If Nigeria truly wants functional institutions, the solution is straightforward:

Reform the recruitment process to prioritise merit, competence, and skills.
Improve salaries, welfare, and working conditions to reflect economic realities.
Tie performance to accountability and rewards.

This is very commendable from the minister, it will help to keep them on their feet.

This is where we get it wrong all the time. When you use someone as a scapegoat in case of inefficiencies others will buckle up. Of course the bucks stop at the table if those entrusted with authorities, and when they fail a higher authority is supposed to discipline or call them to order.

He will talk and go. Most of their appoints is by cabal and not even Tinubu can go against the arrangement

He is fighting a lost cause. Leadership starts from the very top. They do anyhow cos Tinubu is also anyhow

Our problem is not just leadership, in fact leadership doesn't contribute up to 15% of the problem.

If an Angel becomes Nigeria president and appoints fellow angels as ministers, Nigeria won't still become what we are hoping for because corruption has eaten deeply into every nooks and crannies....

Take for instance president gave order for the withdrawal of all VIP police escorts. Are we expecting the president to be the one to carry out the order? IGP is just one man even if he's 100% committed to enforce the order, in this our Nigeria he can't totally stop it. To stop corruption, extortion, bribery, VIPs escorts in the Nigeria police that means you will have to dismiss more than half of the personnels and when you recruit another people to replace the sacked ones they will start from where the sacked ones stopped and even take it to higher level then many of those sacked ones will turned to criminals in the streets.

As it should be. This guy is one of the shining star of this administration. I love people who hold others accountable.

This is what i was actually looking for, you noticed it as well.

It seems to me as cruise, everything na cruise.

This guy started off with the controversy of that contract magomago which stained his white. But let's call a spade a spade, his reforms with immigration has been transformational. Haba, for the first time ever I renewed the families passports by going online, paying, picking a date for capture, going there and capturing, and getting the passports withing days! No settlements, no magomago.
Kudos to this Minister, people like him, Festus keyamo and one or two others are doing well.
