And again @airsayloncome I’ll love to make an inquiry as regards the grading system/competition during this assessment stage
I know you might not be 100% certain but due to your experience I guess you’ll have a clue somewhat

During your set that resumed and the set after how many people were employed and what was the ratio of sciences(engineering/all other sciences) to non-sciences(management/social sciences and arts/law)

And how will the competition/shortlisting for the next stage be done?
Hypothetically lemme say they need 100 trainees(80 engineering/science related roles and 20 administrative roles) and about 1000 took the job came and 300 candidates are to be taken to the next and final stage. Will the cut off for the sciences and arts different? I.e is it possible someone who’s under the umbrella of non science who scored the highest in that field say 70/100 will be shortlisted ahead of someone
who scored 80/100 from the sciences bracket but wasn’t amongst the top 100 of that bracket?

Or will the top 300 who took the test be taken to the next stage irrespective of whether they’re all sciences or not(i.e if the top 300 were all engineers/sciences they’ll be moved to the next stage and trained to fill the administrative roles)

I hope u get the question cos it might be a lil bit confusing
I can't (or rather choose not to) mention specific number for the 2017 class. But for both 17 & 22, the numbers were under 100. 2017 feels like it was 50/50 between engineering and business grads

Thanks for your response @airsaylongcome. I know this might be personal but after your first shl assessment before being shortlisted for the assessment centre, How confident were you that you’d be called for the next stage?

Lol! I already mentioned that in several posts both on the 2013 thread and the 2022 thread. In my head, I failed everything. As in freestyle, reckless failing. Whether WAEC (which hasn't been done since the 2013 recruitment), SHL Aptitude test or Assessment Centre, in my head, I wasn't coming back after each of them.
Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Godhasdonewell: 8:18pm On Jan 21
Lmao yhhhhh. You mentioned them in previous threads stating how everything works when God says something is yours. You even stated how you made a factual error during your presentation but God always placed your name as an employee from the onset. Nice one boss. I've doubt my part… The rest is up to God as usual.

Boss, so you currently work with them or you resigned?
Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Godhasdonewell: 9:01am On Jan 22
@Ellaposh he did mentioned in one of the threads that he resigned and pursued his dream role as he didn't wanna get stuck with his procurement/admin role in NLNG as that wasn't really his dream career. I think he's with a telecoms company now or so.

This is by the way
While I understand the quest to fulfill passion, but so much can be done from a procurement/admin role. Supply chain is related and is a very rewarding and fulfilling career

boss, please did they provide accommodation for non engineering staffs? I mean those outside Bonny? Or all the staffs stay in Bonny?
Hopefully, i will be able to answer this question for an applicant during the next NLNG recruitment.
For now, I am a hopeful like you.

Staff not staffs.

Every staff in Bonny gets accommodation in the NLNG Residential Area. Staff in other location (PH/Abuja) have to get their accommodation themselves

I guess the first test did not measure all the competencies they needed. An average of the 1st and 2nd assessments may be used to progress applicants to the next stage.
Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Wemimo5: 7:03pm On Jan 30
When you say "first test", are you referring to first batch or second batch. And how does rewriting a test help sieve out competencies required.
