They already gave Greenland to the US. They just don't want Trump to keep yapping about it.

US is NATO incase you don't know.

Europe is rethinking its alliances because of Trump but it is not easy to quickly pivot. China will exploit Europe on trade i.e. they will open shop in Europe. But when it comes to military protection, China will tell Europe you are on your own. The US will put boots on the ground to defend their allies that is the main difference
