He was alright. His problem is that Flick is playing him in a position he'll never master because he's not coachable. When you watch Barca, it's clear that the idea is for Dejong to act as the DLP and not stray forward but he just doesn't sit and protect. Today he was so far forward that Pedri had to act as the DLP. Later, it was when he maintained his position that Barca took control of the game again.

A quality UCL team would've blown Barca away just like they've done over the years.

With him, Barca won't last in the UCL this season. Once you jam any serious team, it's goodnight.

No single capable defender in that lineup. Eric, Curbasi two weaklings, add calamitous Martin who's just a very average CB and extremely poor LB. The only positive is no Kounde who has been atrocious all season long.

I expect Oviedo to take at least a two goal lead then Barca will make try to crawl back.
