I get it, but the current crisis going on in the state and the Greenland drama make the USD future unpredictable. Beeron: |

If they are doing well, I might try them out. Beeron: |

EquityM:The only thing that can undermine the U.S dollar is the U.S hegemony itself. The moment the U.S begin to lose control of geopolitical influence or defeat of their sophisticated military. The crash of the dollar will follow. That was what happened to British Pounds, London use to be the financial capital of the world and Pounds main exchange currency until WW1 and WW2 made Britain permanently lost that currency dominance to the US. Now this why you see the U.S always picking on smaller countries to re-assert dominance and bully them because if they pick on RUSSIA or China, that would be the end of the U.S dollar. Nuclear war won't only destroy countries, it will destroy the rule based order which the U.S created whereby Dollar is the petrol currency and main exchange currency of the world. |

Salarys:It looks like they have a good selection of solid stocks. But the question begging for an answer is, is their withdrawal/liquidity as fast/instant as Cardinalstone? |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 10:24am On Jan 22 |
Beeron:But pounds is still the most valuable currency |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 10:28am On Jan 22 |
Yes, I signed up already but am pondering whether to invest or not. They do have NDIF, which does around 24YTD yearly. Funding is seamless like CardinalStone. WaytoGo: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by WaytoGo: 10:40am On Jan 22 |
EquityM:With instant liquidity and 24YTD record I think I may dive in as well. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 10:43am On Jan 22 |
welzyj2:Bro you should understand that my point is: currency popularly used as medium of exchange. How many countries uses Pounds as trade currency in comparison to the Dollar? Even Euro in the Eurozone and globally is still popularly used over the British Pounds. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 10:45am On Jan 22 |
For liquidity, one has to link the account using Paystack; however, you can still manually link your account, and you have an e-wallet account to fund your account as well. I will try the equity and the NIDF. I am not loyal to any fund manager; nevertheless, I do check if they are legit, the custodians and trustees. WaytoGo: |

EquityM:I have a video on NDIF on YouTube, it's one the most oldest investment in Nigeria by Afrivest. It's invested in only Bond, you are making a very good decision investing in it. I just didn't bring all these options to you from cowrywise because I was thinking you not flexible enough to consider using cowrywise app and just love CardinalStone. Good thing you signed up. Welcome to the club. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 10:53am On Jan 22 |
I like CardinalStone; however, I'm not loyal to any fund managers. If I see one that does well and makes sense, I'll definitely give it a go. Beeron: |

The review I am seeing on Afrinvest is not worth trying.

| Re: Equity Investment. by Salarys: 11:39am On Jan 22 |
EquityM:Not so sure about this.

Have you withdrawn from the app? The review I am seeing is atrocious. Salarys: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Salarys: 11:54am On Jan 22 |
EquityM:I use Cowrywise. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Arizona86: 12:38pm On Jan 22 |
I have used them before, you need to ensure your KYC is approved before investing with them. Most of those complaints are people whose kyc is pending approval and they want to withdraw their funds. They also have a policy of 24 to 48 working hours before your fund drops in your wallet when you sell your investment but once the money is available in your wallet withdrawal takes some few minutes to transfer to your bank EquityM: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 1:22pm On Jan 22 |
EquityM:This is on their app. Their app is shittty, Invest via cowrywise. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by mikeayus(m): 1:30pm On Jan 22 |
Does it mean investing with Afriinvest via a middleman (cowrywise) is better than dealing with them directly? Beeron: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by WaytoGo: 1:55pm On Jan 22 |
mikeayus:I think we can now all agree opting for the Equity platform/manager that makes good selection of trade or stocks within the market with easy or instant liquity is the best ? At this point now, I think I have to use my head and be matured about it cos , this is like a business for me now. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 1:58pm On Jan 22 |
I will stick with CardinalStone; others will only get 10-50k. The market is really bearish now; I will buy more and split my funds around. WaytoGo: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Smattrader: 2:08pm On Jan 22 |
Salarys:Is the via Cowrywise or the fund management direct app? |
| Re: Equity Investment. by WaytoGo: 2:11pm On Jan 22 |
EquityM:Can you elaborate on the bolded, I didn't understand. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by WaytoGo: 2:18pm On Jan 22 |
EquityM:Not bad for someone like you with a huge some in the market via Cardinal stone. This is what I am looking at, beyond platform or management ; Beyond the gains, beyond equity but their fixed fund too- I am looking at this from the angle of professionism that comes with their in-house combined selection of stocks, their analysis, and ability to make the right choice and, if for instance one seems to have that ability beyond them, then, might be wise to opt for it cos I am able to place my money where both fixed, Etf''s, and Equity, etc works. This is just my personal opinion , please. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 2:23pm On Jan 22 |
mikeayus:cowrywise has only perfected the trade and expertise of quick customer service, quick funding, quick cash out, Quick trade execution. And if you notice most complaints by Afrivest app users, they are complaining about all the aforementioned. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 2:23pm On Jan 22 |
I mean, if other fund managers are doing well at the moment, I won't want to move my funds around; nevertheless, I might fish around and decide what is best for me. I already tried Afrinvest equity with 20k; I'll see how the market is doing and compare it with Cardinal. WaytoGo: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by WaytoGo: 3:06pm On Jan 22 |
EquityM:Now, that's business, not emotional or unprofitable loyalty to a manager. 👍👍👍 |
| Re: Equity Investment. by WaytoGo: 3:09pm On Jan 22 |
Beeron:Please, can you provide a little bit of info about this ' Cowrywise " platform? Are they just fintech or registered under the SEC or better still how do I check them up to know my money is safe since ( I don't think) they are a fund manager or are they? |
