Please what is the difference between the black haisic 8kwh 24v battery and the white one? I got different prices for both about 100k difference. Do I have anything to gain by using the white battery as against the black one? I will really appreciate your response. Thank you |

RickyM:Go and buy current limiter, it should be around 10-20k depending on ur location. D device will allow u to adjust current to as little as 0.5amp out of 63amps. So since u looking at supplying ur neighbour with 200watt, set ur current limiter 'set 9' to 0.9. So once ur neighbour goes beyond the stipulated allowable current, the device truncates energy flow |

Edrizz:used this on 2 occassions but e just dey hot. Now na 500w sachet inverter I use sell light give my backYard neigbour + it issolates completely hence He the supplier could choose to switch off his bigger unit while away without affecting the neigbour. |

bassdow:That won’t be cost efficient as it’s not just one person, like 3 of them in a different room. |

Hello Guys Person dey ask me questions wey I no too get answer to hence need una input. Someone wants to buy an inverter from someone but needs know if it's worth it. I asked for the model and was given INVA3.5K/48V and they said it's 3.5kVA 48Volts Voltron DSP sine wave inverter. It's nonHybrid. I checked google but the model not giving anything. Oya give me the person number make I follow am talk directly, the person dey do like say I fit follow back buy am. Anyways I have asked him (be like say na 3 people but na 1 person I follow talk) to send me pictures and he just said the seller has sent them to him so I upload them make una see. It's the above vs another Sukam 3.5 Kva 48v. Also include your inputs on Sukam 3.5 Kva 48v transformer based non-hybrid. No need suggesting Hybrid because that's out of their table. So would appreciate your inputs so him/they see una replies.

RickyM:Just get a current limiter and set it to the corresponding current and you are good to go |

shoesaffairs:Black is old one while white is the new one. Also white has Bluetooth connection to see state of battery and also a advance screen and is more aesthetic pleasing than the black which only have a small screen that shows only percentage. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 3:40pm On Jan 22 |
shoesaffairs:while you wait for responses from those wey probably get answer, let me put my own. Most times, price differences between Black and nonBlack items is mostly due to aesthetics as Black is often unPrettier. I doubt you gain anything going for the WHITE item. My above response is just general idea on the things I know |

Hi guys, trust you are good. Pls ignore any typo and pardon me for this long epistle. I need your opinion on this issue. I don’t know if it’s my inverter, or socket or my phone. It’s been 3 years now since I have been using this modified Sine-wave sachet inverter in my office; it’s been fantastic and no issues. But recently, I noticed that all my chargers are malfunctioning (I.e no longer charge well). I find myself replacing my phone charging cord after few weeks thinking it’s gone bad or so. Good news is that It just dawned on that it might not be the cords all this while, and bad news is that I don’t know what the issue is. All the wall sockets now have the same issue (that’s if there is any issues at all). Guys I have about 5 phone chargers and they are all acting the same way. They charge and stop every now and then and you have to keep checking your phone every minute to be sure it’s charging. This also happens even when I try to use only the cord directly on the DC to AC converter mounted on the battery. This issue never happens to clients or outsider who randomly plugs their phones or something like that. The fans, Chest freezer, lightings are all working fine. Most importantly, this also happens with NEPA light too. Experienced folks, pls is it my Modified Sine-wave sachet inverter that has taken its time, after 3 Years to finally damage all my sensitive electronics, or is it iPhone that is damaging the chargers since these chargers are not iPhone chargers? |

AyobamiOluwole:care to share a picture of your chargers including the cables? i would advise you to get an original iphone charger and stop sharing your cable with other people, do not allow any other person to use it even for few seconds and you would see that the issue will stop. also, if you are using iphone 13/12, then you MUST follow my advice up there. |

Good evening all. Please I need your advise on the size of inverter, panel and battery that will carry the loads below: Light bulbs x 4 pieces. 190 litres freezer x 1 piece. Ox Plastic standing fan x 1 piece. Iron x 1 piece. Blender x 1 piece. Air fryer x 1 piece. Hair straightener x 1 piece. Microwave (yet to be bought) x 1 piece. The above are the major loads I want to carry. I may or may not use surface pumping machine (not sure of capacity but max 1hp) Also, please how much is the cost of the battery that can power these loads? Thank you all for your response. |

hi everyone, i need your opinion on a certain project.. Cost is a factor here. Between deye hv batteries and using our lv batteries to achieve same function.which is more healthier in terms of cost, efficiency and safety. we are looking @ expanding the batteries to at least a 160kwh as time goes on.. its for a small guest house. |

Good morning guys. Any recommendations on good 10kwh batteries at 1.7 Mil and 6kva inverters at 500k? Thanks |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by AyobamiOluwole: 1:20am On Jan 23 |
VillageHustle:Thank you for your response chief. Actually, I think my iPhone spoils my cords and not the chargers. I just got a new cord this evening and it worked fine; at least for now. And this looks like a repeating cycle of buying and disposing cords almost every 2-3weeks or maybe I have been purchasing substandard cords. I use the popular “Poolee” cord by the way. Funnily the ones I’ve gotten from this big supermarkets like Oraimo and co does the same thing too. |

1hp whisen inverter ac, whisen is lg premium brand of ac. This ac is direct Tokunbo from alaba. Not even up to 500w of consumption, This is the total load on the inverter at the time.

shoesaffairs:Wouldn't suggest running things such as electric iron on solar except your iron is those energy friendly ones often less than 600w, inverter of 2.5KVA would work BUT you would have to completely exclude the Pumping machine. Just don't power the heavy loads all at once. 3kva would be a much more comfortable spot. in fact with 3kva, if your pumping machine is less than 1HP say 0.75 or 0.5hp, then 3kva would run it. You could even run both the freezer and pumping machine along with your fan and lights at same time. 3.5kva would be a much more comfortable spot. Anything after 3.5kva, you are buying for the future + extra comfort as it would be more than the load you have up there. Also don't know the brand you going for BUT all inverters ain't created equal. Some go handle bullShit better than others. With low quality inverters, you would have to go for higher wattage as most times, their rating is faked. for Solar panels, 6pcs of 550w or 500w or 450w halfCut mono Solar panels should be good enough. if your inverter is hybrid, then they all could go in series else it's 3s3p. if budget not an issue, go for NEW else go for USEd. Also if buying NEW solar panels, let your minimum be 550w and must be halfCut Mono at least. in fact, if you're team "always use the biggest solar panel available" , you could go for 5pcs of 600w or 650w OR even 4pcs of 750w Solar panels. the price difference from 500w no much. Just don't forget the bigger the wattage, the bigger the size and weight BUT means future upgrades becomes easier unlike those that started with smaller solar panels. if you're going for non hybrid inverter, then your charge controller should be between 60A to 100A. As for battery, 8kwh to 10kwh is good enough Just ensure your source is honest enough. A budget of 800,000 naira to 1.2 million naira should be a good starting point. Could be cheaper but... if you got the money, go for 4kva inverter else follow the above to decide which to go for |

RickyM:Get a smart breaker or socket. Very handy for such things. It requires a WiFi to work though. Otherwise you get the manual type that you set an over current value as you want.
