I know that the FCT Minister has been instrumental in the cabinet of the President but I agree with the position of the APC National Chairman that Governor Sim Fubara is the leader of the APC in Rivers State.

Wike may be the leader of the PDP but he is not a member of the APC so he can't speak for the APC. The President believes in the rule of law and sticks to the position of the Party's National Chairman.

We have heard people who complain that as a cabinet member Wike enjoyed more benefits than anything, you know when you leave Treasury Single Account (TSA)...

Journalist: But Wike delivered more than most?

Bwala: If they are given the resources that he has and unfettered access, they will do more. So Wike has been adequately compensated. The President believes in compensating people. Compensating people not at the expense of the interest of Nigeria. You have to understand President Bola Tinubu...he will give you latitude, he will give you privilege but not at the expense of the right thing to do and when you cross that line nobody will tell you, you will know.

On the impeachment, I know there are court processes to stop it. Again, the Party is clear. Nobody should stop Fubara from governing the State. The party sticks with the leaders in their respective States, that one should be clear.

Who else should be the leader of APC in Rivers if not Fubara? Wike is not a member of APC. Fubara is the governor and he is a member of APC. The difference is clear na.

Wike is the political leader of PDP
Amaechi is the political leader of ADC

What are the odds of Tinubu and Wike falling out before 2027?

The cracks are becoming too obvious, and the trump card of stymieing the PDP, which Wike once held, is gone.

Hence, he has become a political liability.

If Bwala's statement is any true, it effectively ends the impeachment threat.

I will be watching how things unfold, like a bat, arms crossed akimbo.

This statement didn't clarify anything. It still means wike is fubaras leader. Also note Tinubu is afraid of dislodging wike. The day he tries it , wike will be the number 1 opposition to his government.. wike de defacto president of Nigeria....

Politically, Wike is technically finished. That's why he abandons governance in Abuja to get involved in Rivers politics - unlike his Rivers State, there's no guarantee he can rig elections in Abuja

Unlike pdp where things were done differently...in Apc..all the governors are the leader of their respective states..

See Delta for example..is Okowa not in Apc?

Even if wike should cross over to Apc..Sim will stil be the leader ..his time has passed..

Coming from Bwala, it should be taken with a pinch of salt. Bwala might low key still be pained about how Wike scuttled PDP and Atiku's chances in the last election, not necessarily because that's Tinubu's position.

If Atiku had won that election, I can't imagine how Bwala would have ridicule Tinubu and APC. Bwala said some unprintable stuff about Wike and Tinubu leading up to the election. He just suddenly humbled himself when he realised that "go no go°

The spokesman of the President does not go to the media to say what is not the position of the president.
Spokesperson to the President does not assume, he does not speak based on what he assumes to be the Presidents body language
He defends and gets approval before going to say anything

This is a welcome development in Rivers state. At least the Governor will be left to govern the state in peace.
The Emperor's wings have been clipped, no wonder we have not been hearing his voice for a while.

The gloves are off. Tinubu has finally thrown Wike under the bus as predicted. It's phyric victory. Today's meeting with Makinde was probably to solidify his hold on the party in exchange for some concessions. Wike will not go out without a fight.
