ood evening everyone
Please I urgently need help.

I want to open a dispute on AliExpress but I can’t find my way around the app anymore.

I received a phone I ordered, and after just 3 days of use the screen started having serious issues. The order has already been marked as completed, but I did NOT click the “Order Received” button when I collected the package.

The reason is because I wanted the buyer protection to continue while I properly tested the phone for any faults.

It’s been a long time since I last ordered from AliExpress, so I’m a bit lost now and I can’t find the dispute button.

Please, if anyone knows how to open a dispute in this situation, I’ll really appreciate your help
Tap the order, you should see "returns/refunds". Select it and continue from there.

This should be inside the order page, unless buyer protection period is over which is usually 15 days after order is marked as delivered
Thanks bro I've seen it.
I'm still waiting for the sellers reply B4 opening the dispute

Sorry to ask, what is the phone brand, and is it new or refurbished?
The phone is an Oukitel C21, and it’s a refurbished unit. It didn’t come in the original carton; it came in a package box with a charger and pouch.
I bought it because my previous phone, which is also an Oukitel C21, developed battery issues. The problem started after I used an auto-tap app on Telegram and left the phone plugged in overnight. The phone overheated badly, which damaged the battery. Since then, it takes about 8 hours to fully charge and drains in less than 3 hours.
I later took it for repairs, thinking the slow charging was caused by the charging board (downboard). Unfortunately, during the repair, the downboard was damaged, and after that, the phone could still charge, but very slowly, and it could no longer connect to a laptop. I later confirmed that the slow charging issue was actually caused by the damaged battery, not the downboard.
When I checked the cost of buying a new battery and downboard on AliExpress, it was almost the same as buying another phone. So I decided to purchase the same model (Oukitel C21) at a cheaper price, which I was able to get using an Access Bank card discount promo.

Your first mistake was buying an Oukitel phone.

Should I be worried or is this normal pls?
The other item I ordered alongside this has already arrived.
The tracking hasn't gone beyond here since November. I've requested a refund.

This is the first time I’m having such an issue. Has anyone else encountered this kind of issue, how did it go please?

Click here to view tracking information

Shipper received notification of arrival in Nigeria on the 19th of December.

NB. Morning Global handed over the package to Netherlands Post. You can get the updated tracking number in the link above.

Someone please help!!!
I have orders from AliExpress since November 2025 that have arrived the local airport according to AliExpress Tracking, but up till now, it hasn't moved from there to "customs clearance started' or even "customs clearance complete''. It's going to 2 months now.
Please, is anyone having the same issues and what possiblity can be done so that I can receive my items?

1 out of 12.
Funny thing is Malaysia post via my chat with their Twitter handle said, it no longer in their hand, that the local courier company takes it up once it arrives local airport.
And if you contact nipost they will likely deny it's with them

I got refunded yesterday after my order arrived Nigeria on December 2nd and up till now, no one knows its whereabouts.

Maybe I’ll try mail Post Malaysia and ask them if I can intercept my order when it gets to local airport, they shouldn’t hand it over to local logistics or something, I don’t want to go through refund process I ordered with Naira Card.

Did you pay with Naira card or Dollar Card? (I’ve been reading that refunds to Naira cards has been a headache recently)

not just Naira cards. Some of my refunds failed and AliExpress has been denying me my refubds, saying they didn't charge me for the order. Even the ones that were successfully refubded, no arn to process it with my bank since Dec.

The fault is from nipost. They are the local courier company.
I feel this situation Will continue until something drastic is done to curtail Nipost gross irresponsibility.

What will happen at the end of the day is the vendors will restrict shipping items to Nigeria cause no store can consistently bear the cost of making consistent refunds due to no fault of theirs but local courier incompetence. The store I bought a tablet from last year did this after I got my refund, they didn't totally though, but only sells items below $50 to Nigerians.

The solution in my opinion is for this courier company to have somewhat of a representative in Nigeria that will help facilitate the processing of their items through NIPOST. Sadly the Nigerian context doesn't just allow for things to flow smoothly, you need human presence to get things moving. Wouldn't even be surprised if a rival courier company is intentionally sabotaging items from Malaysia and Netherland Post to get them off this terrain. In Nigeria everything is possible.
Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by kayus621(m): 2:51pm On Jan 24
So I told this seller the phone he sent to me is faulty and that I want to open a dispute. He started begging me not to and said he’ll send another phone. Then he opened a $0.91 order and asked me to pay so he can ship the replacement.
Honestly, I don’t trust it. I still have less than 15 days to open a dispute, and I know once that time runs out, buyer protection is gone. I’m not sure if I should risk it or just open the dispute straight up.
Has anyone experienced this before?

Yes, it's not yet with them.

My guess is that most of the delay being experienced isn't Nipost. The delay is between Customs clearance and the items getting to NIPOST. It's where I think an on-ground agent will be vital in helping to expedite the process.

Don't think so, Nipost and customs are literally on the same building at Nahco.
Once items get to a country, it's the job of the local courier to sort out its clearance and delivery, of which EMS is in charge.

i dropped an update about a week or two ago after talking to a nipost staff from where i pick up my items, they have not received items since November last year. A certain amount of money is being owed(i do not know who is owing who) so items that arrive Nigeria via NIPOST are not scanned into Nigeria hence their tracking just remain at arrival at airport.Until the debt is paid nothing may move.

Funny enough, it's the same Malaysia post that is delivering item to Ghana.
If you check their review on AE, you will know Nigerian shoppers are suffering.
Concerning my items, have started processing the refunds.
It's sad, knowing the situation with nipost will likely go from bad to worse.

Nipost used to pull this pre-covid 19.
Your item gets to your local post office 2-3 days after arrival at airport.
Memories man, everything got 10x worse in thud country after covid.

If I apply for refund on a December 7 order, i used coupons to wave off $15 off the price. Will I get the whole money with the discount back?

My buyer protection is still about 68 days away.
