Kaduna abduction: We won’t tolerate Christians genocide — US lawmakers

The United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs has condemned in strong terms the recent attack in Kaduna State, where suspected bandits kidnapped over 100 worshippers from three churches.

The Congressmen issued a stern warning that the US would not tolerate killings of Christians in Nigeria.

Recall that gunmen suspected to be bandits on Sunday stormed three churches in the Kure area of Kajuru Local Government Area, abducting more than 100 people.

DAILY POST reports that there was controversy as the Kaduna State Government and the Nigeria Police Force initially denied the incident.

The police, however, later made a U-turn and confirmed the abduction of the worshipers, saying they had mobilized personnel to ensure the release of the kidnapped victims.

Reacting in a statement posted on its official X handle, the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs frowned at the attack.

“This past Sunday, Islamic terrorists in Nigeria raided churches and kidnapped more than 168 Christians.

“President Trump made it clear: We cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria. The United States will not tolerate the massacre of innocent Christians,” the committee said.

We're very hopeful that the issue of insurgency and kidnapping is political and will be trashed as soon as possible.

This is the same tactics that was deployed during GEJ regime when they wanted him out by all means but Tinubu will not tolerate it and we the entire southern Nigeria will support Tinubu and his policies.

You guys should stop taking and take action. The killing had been happening not today. I witness more then 50 Christian being burnt alive in Kaduna during 2000 Sharia clash. Mind you our house was burnt, this is something I see from a distance not hey say.
