Protesters have besieged the national headquarters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abuja, demanding that President Bola Tinubu sack the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.


DAILY POST reports that Tinubu appointed the immediate past governor of Rivers State as FCT Minister, even though he is not a member of the APC.

Wike has been at loggerheads with members of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

It was also reported that he recently extended this confrontation to the National Secretary of the APC, whom he warned to steer clear of Rivers politics.

Wike has stepped on many toes, he is having issues with many top APC members, even when he is not a member of the party, he wants to interfere and detect what happens. Why do they want him Sacked- is it that he is not Performing as a Minister?

If Wike must be discarded, it would certainly be after the next election. By then, he must have outlived his usefulness but I doubt if Tinubu would do so.
