I have seen the video and it proves nothing tangible except that ammunitions are being expended. The soldiers are being commanded to advance toward nothing in particalar within sight. No bulletproof on them shows they just taking silly risk of higher firepower if any terrorist exists on the other side.

Another puzzling issue is, who recorded such a clip if not a deliberately orchestrated leak from NSA to score political points?

We saw someone dismissed from military for same offense just a weak ago. Lol
So you didn't see an explosive explode and threw a soldier off in the video? Why don't you people have a heart. ? Everything is lies to you

It's called Morale.
He deserves some accolades

Jakumo:
That tank commander should have been taking cover. Too much yanga will get a soldier killed fast. Bullets were thick in the air, and he was strolling around as though on a weekend pleasure walk.

Not necessarily AI

The shooting actually happened but no enemy in site, it's a shooting for camera

You think that man that was galavanting up and down will be doing so if enemies were really on sight and bullet flying in all directions?

But when you are the actor and the boss you can portray as you want

Those gunshots, Hope they’d show the bodies of terrorists they hit

Can't the same drone drop bombs on the terrorists?

No air back up?
What I was expecting to see. Combat is becoming more intelligent by the day. Countries are looking for strategies to reduce exposure to their troops

I have continued to notice the absence of air support In this fight against terrorism. Where is the air force? In western climes, troops would have called for air support, supply the coordinates and allow the air boys to do their jobs, then ground forces will come back and mop up stragglers and survivors.
In Russia/ Ukraine war, ordinary drones have been weaponised and used against the Russian positions to great advantage.
To me, this video right here, there is no coordination. The result will be abysmal.

For the guy walking around aimlessly in the thick fray of battle? That man is obviously in a dazed state of shock. Nothing anyone will tell me
Re: Ferocious Battle Footage From Sambisa Forest War Front by Elichi25(m): 10:48am On Jan 24
Shameful!

Where one is dodging, the other is standing upright. Bullet that can kill the other cannot kill him?

There's differences between simulation and war fronts!

Shameful!!

God bless these soldiers. Honestly the government must learn to reward great sacrifices like this. I was shaken watching people in this condition when they choose to stay away and talk. May the Almighty God protect you guys.

It’s happening hot in the north east but one country chose to hit sokoto
And that country will definitely collect their money back from this land, money used to make the weapons
Country seems do.omed
Re: Ferocious Battle Footage From Sambisa Forest War Front by tubolancer(m): 11:02am On Jan 24
They need air support, wherever they are going at least two warplanes, three attack helicopter and at least twenty drones should follow them, it will make the job easier. One thing I also noticed is the communication and coordination should be upgraded.

Are you expecting to see well-defined visuals of the enemy? Is it Hollywood? In a real combat situation like this, the enemy will frequently be over a kilometre away, and troops are not firing at a specific target but rather, a general area where the enemy is known to be present.

It is not often that a Nigerian soldier is able to capture a firefight involving infantry, tanks and major firepower, so when this video clip arrived in my news feed, I had to share it on the Nairaland forum for the viewing pleasure of my fellow armchair generals in the house. If you listen carefully you will hear the whistle of incoming rounds whipping past the cameraman's head as he bravely records the chaotic firefight.

Sit back, and enjoy the fireworks, but while you see the brave men of the Nigerian army lock horns with a determined and well funded enemy, remember that this is no movie, and that when the smoke clears, a few Nigerian soldiers will have paid the ultimate price, and thus made the ultimate sacrifice for their fatherland.

So una see am?

I was saying something about it on Instagram and they nearly finish me

They didn't advance, just dey there dey shoot, no advancement to push them plus the ones walking around to the extent that a suicide bomber was approaching and they were afraid when they were supposed to use kill

Armored tanks should've given them upper hand for advancement

Define brave!

Going into war front with no ballistic gear nor helmet is outright stupidity. I was thinking you would point out how the lives of those soldiers are being exposed to silly risks.

I find this video hard to believe…Nollywood movie may be. Have you seen real battle live cameramen? You can sense the tension not these ones strolling like TChidi is somewhere shouting “Action!”

Lol!!! Just say the ragtag army of your country! Modern warfare has eyes on the target and know how many guns they are advancing !! Even the soldiers knows...
You're obviously basing your flawed viewpoint on call of duty.

Go check almost all combat videos in open terrain. You never see the enemy. Majority of the firefight is suppressive.

The only types you can see the enemy is CQB, or close quarters battle, such as clearing a building or trench. These are direct actions often engaged by special forces.

Where is the airforce and drones?

If there's military intelligence these fights will be reduced because na precise boom.
