AyobamiOluwole: Obnoxious2001:Guys, Thanks for your response. Total PV installed xapacity is 8,750W Yes, Inverter overload error. But my thinking is that a 3000W Cooker or 1.5Hp pump should not overload a 5Kva inverter or run down battery of my size immediately or trigger two units of 200A BMS cut-off? Do l need to increase inverter size or add another to it? Inverter has been shutting down for sometime now, even when weather was good. What is the best way for me to fund out what my inverter generates, l dont have those equipment like NCV Meter |

oluchibabe:Check inverter and battery terminals. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by AyobamiOluwole: 1:08am On Jan 24 |
oluchibabe:The problem here is that you are running more load than what your inverter can take or carry. This is something I pointed out to you b4 now. Also, that your inverter is rated 5Kva doesn’t mean it’s actually 5Kva. When you factor in Power factor and Efficiency, its real usable power rating could be 3.5Kva to maybe 4Kva. I don’t think you’ll be cooking for 24hours using a 3Kva Cooker or pumping water for 24hours using 1.5hp, but anytime you intend to do that, turn off your other heavy appliances in the house. Then if you don’t want to go through that stress of always running to turn off your other appliance every now and then during such heavy usage, then go for a higher rated inverter that can chest everything at once. |

oluchibabe:1. Take a picture of the inverter specs label for us 2. Take a screenshot of your battery cell voltages for us 3. Take screenshots/pictures of both your battery and inverter undervoltage settings This isn't a PV issue. A 26kwh battery and your inverter are enough to handle those loads without PV at all. Your inverter is either overrated, or your undervoltage points are much higher than necessary, or you have bad cells in your battery. |

oluchibabe:I had similar experience at a time, if heavy load is powered power goes off. Was told to open my battery and check each of the cell if the nuts are tight, behold one of them was loosed. Since your ba3 us a DIY you can check if any of the screws are loosed |

Machiny:Wahala Terminals. But can he open it up to check? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Ferdiwar: 11:34am On Jan 24 |
First of all let's start with the basics. 1. What's the make of your inverter? 2. What is the total wattage of your loan on the inverter before the sumo or cooler was turned on? 3. Does the inverter go off only when the stated 2 load are powered on? 4. What is the size of your cables from the battery to the inverter and from the inverter to your house control switch? I also use a 5kw inverter and sometimes run the inverter to over 4.5kw with no issues even at night when it's fully running on the battery. oluchibabe: |

Edrizz:The current limiter you’re referring to, I hope it’s not AVR? Because it’s efficiency is nothing to write home about, even when I’m consuming 200W+ from my inverter the AVR I have still shows 0.0 on the current side and that’s definitely wrong for a 200W+ load. But if there are other ones please let me know |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Machiny: 2:28pm On Jan 24 |
dollarnaira:it's not the cell he is opening but the box housing the cells, and the nuts used in tighting the bus bar to the battery. |

oluchibabe:The 5kva inverter has no allowance for surge and other peripheral appliances that's are running. If the load ia reduced does it work well |

sofdoc1:Deriy 14kwh LFP is within same amount and from capacity test done by Solaris surge, the battery is complete. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by osayuwamwen(m): 4:52pm On Jan 24 |
Has anyone use this inverter brand I heard it can work with or without a battery, and can it power a 1.5hpower submersible pump effectively? How durable is it?
