Govt device a means to ensure no one is denied access to University education by granting loan to students, I don't see why such a step should not be applauded but some people because of their hatred for the person in power are not happy with such news. Normally, a guideline must be provided on how to repay such loans and I'm pretty sure the loan will be repayable once you start employment and not when you're still an undergraduate. Let's stop misinforming the public please.

Before APC and Tinubu came to power, uniben school fees wasn't upto 15k per session.
Many households can easily send their kids to school without loan or biting their pocket.
APC and Tinubu came and took it to over 200k and then started giving loans that over 50% couldn't access
And u say we should applaud them for making education difficult and unaffordable for those that couldn't get the loan and then mortgaging the future of those that was able to get the loan.

Honestly I feel university or tertiary education should be free or at least very cheap for d common man,I imagine d huge amount o money spent by parents just because there children gain admission

1. Loan disbursed less than 2 years ago.

2. Student obviously still undergraduates and still studying.

3. Even the ones that graduated have not worked for 2 years (the mandatory grace period before repayment kick in.)

So, which Repayments Memo is that? Something is already amiss.

There's no big deal in that. It's called loan and as such, it has to be repaid. I believe the beneficiaries must have been informed duly before they opted for it. They can only appeal to the government to be lenient with them in the retrieval of the loan.

I read the article. A document has been released stating the procedure for repayment. No demand for any repayment has been made whatsoever. You're meant to repay when you start working.
