That should be a punishable criminal offense.

Well, unless she is a minor, she is responsible for her decisions & actions and she will have a hard time proving to a court of law that she was "forced into marriage" to warrant committing murder.

Of course it's not an excuse for murder, but you can't prevent such murders in future without factoring in the motives and states of minds of the perpetrators, whether it makes sense to a reasonable person or not.

Whilst it's not enough reason to warrant murder,it is what it is.
